I purchased this rug for the 1st time about a year ago. This purchase was rug #4 as I love it! It’s made of very durable material~top & bottom~as my pictures show. It’s excellent for picking up anything & everything that comes from outside my deck door to outside my entrance door from the garage to inside that entrance door into my house. It’s amazing when I shake the rug the amount of dirt & dust, loose grass...that comes from that shake. It’s prevented so much from coming into my house. The bottom is made of an adhesive type of material. It doesn’t totally stick to the floor but it does prevent the rug from moving period. It stays in place. The top was wonderfully made to capture all we don’t want in our house. It’s easy to vacuum as well. My very 1st purchase shows very little wear & tear. It’s durability has held up & that was about 1 year ago. It’s easy to wipe clean with warm water or spray with a general cleaner. Please note the size because it’s nice & was much bigger than I originally expected. It comes folded up in a box but the folded up but if you throw it in the dryer for 5 minutes the creases easily go away & lays flat on the floor & doesn’t move. This is a total 5 star! I had to share this information on this rug as I’ve meant to for some time. If you’re looking for something to capture the dirt then this is the rug. High quality at a great price. Perfect for snow/rain especially if you have kids. Not heavy duty but still does its job and keeps the dirt and melting water of the floor

We have had this mat for over a year now and love it. With young kids who are always running in and out while playing I needed a mat that would trap a lot of dirt and protect our wood floors. This mat works great at it. We have one by the front door for everyone to take their shoes off and I vacuum it a lot but also will shake it out every so often. I am always amazed by how much dirt falls out when I shake it, even after vacuuming. You wouldn't think the mat traps that much dirt just by looking at it because it doesn't look all that dirty! It has kept all that from being tracked and kicked around the house. It holds up very well, too. We have a small hole in ours from being chewed on by a dog, but besides that, it still looks great! The jumbo size is great since we can all walk in and take our shoes off inside instead of having to either wait in the doorway or have someone step off to remove their shoes like we did when we had a smaller sized mat. I did remove one star because it's not very non-slip. If you're standing on it, it won't slip out from under you just by walking normally but the kids and dog will scoot it around if they run on\off it. Despite that, we are planning on buying another for our back door soon!

very good mat

I’ve had this for over a year now. I originally bought it when I was in an apartment and it had a wide entryway that this mat fit perfectly. I moved to a house and this mat has been perfect for the back door that comes in from the garage. It’s thin and will not obstruct the opening and closing of your door. It definitely traps dirt and residue from tracking into the house. Good for snow in the winter and sand in the summer lol It’s also durable and easy to clean. I usually just vacuum over it. Sometimes I sweep it when I’m sweeping the floors. Never machine washed it but I’m sure it’ll hold up fine. I’m buying another one for when guests come in through the front door. I wish they had this in one of those nice half moon shapes though. Either way, I highly recommend!

4 Year Review: Best type of textured mat for catching cat litter, be it these, Gorilla Grip, or the 3M Dirt Grabber. I purchased TWO of these Sep 2021 (4 years ago), a Grey one and a Tan one for the same traffic wear and tear. Between cats using it as a scratching surface and a Roomba, the grey one is destroyed and shredded 6 months ago, while the tan one has only lost / shed about a third of the textured dirt grabbing, noodle-like textured surface. For the price I bought them at, they were 1/10th the price of the 3M Dirt Grabber. I also own two 3m Dirt Grabber mats, which are 10 years old, and have lost zero function, and are 100% intact. Without a Roomba, and with just a few cats, these are a great combo of function and price. There is another 3M knock-off (Gorilla Grip) which is 100% fine after 4 years, so these get 3 stars, the other brand and the 3M dirt grabbers get 5.

The landing as you come through my door was a disaster. Finding a thin mat that allowed myself and children to get through the door and take off shoes before walking through the house. The only one I had found in stores felt like I was standing on a postage stamp as there's a train of people behind me trying to get in, complaining they are still standing in the rain. This mat? Solves that problem. The size is great. About the width of the door on the 35" side, I have it coming out from my door 42" which allows full swing of the door. Three people can stand on it comfortably to get out of the weather and take off their shoes. When it arrived, it was folded into a small square and I was dreading getting it to lay flat. The enclosed sheet says to put it in the dryer for 5 minutes on a high setting. Mine was in there for about 6-7 minutes, came out piping hot. I laid it right out onto the tile floor and it was completely flat, not a single wrinkle. No overwhelming plastic, rubber or chemical smell unless I put my nose directly to it. Doesn't slide around on the floor at all but doesn't stick in a way that makes me worry about it creating a mess underneath itself. Best of all? if you step on it with a pair of socks on, its not extremely rough or uncomfortable either. I would definitely recommend this to anyone in need of a very thin mat to place inside an entry way. Its not the most attractive, but its definitely more attractive than having dirt, mud, rock salt, water, and/or snow tracked through your house.

I love everything about these mats. Great colour in this grey one: a very quiet grey, but not pale, just a classic light-to-mid grey. The mat is so easy to clean, so easy to vacuum, and it stays put even for that. it never slips or curls up either. Although it is not fabric, on bare feet it still feels quite soft and springy. My dog likes to lie on it,and he is a couch potato otherwise. I immediately bought another one (of each colour I purchased here) hjust in case they ever quite carrying this , and mine for some reason needs replacing.

I LOVE everything about this : the color is perfect for my green and white tile floor in the entry. Hard to find a nice clear green in any of the door mat=type rugs. Also, this thing grabs and holds everything the dog drags in on his feet, and we humans, too. (Pinecone petals, grass, evergreen needles, dry crinkly fall leaves, mud, dirt, etc.) It totally protects the floors by holding water, so they never get wet. I can vacuum it, and the grip is so wonderful the rug does not even shift from the vacuum. You have to actually lift a corner to move the thing, and it is sturdy enough to just shake outside to get rid of debris. It is also perfectly able to withstand washing and spot cleaning. Finally, it is surprisingly soft and forgiving on bare feet, which kind of surprised me since it is not an actual soft fabric, but is polypropylene. I immediately bought another one, exactly the same size and colour, just in case anything ever happens to this one, and have stashed it for that time, if it ever comes. I bet it never does.
