after reading some bad reviews, I went against my better judgement and bought it anyway, I don't know what product the 1 star people got, but it certainly doesn't describe the item I received. The pan heats quicker than expected, perfect size for 2 - 4 people. easy to clean with a sponge daddy and soapy water, non stick surface. the product itself is actually quite light, which I don't mind due to emptying left over broth in the sink means it wasn't too heavy. Overall I'm very happy with it so far!

Excellent hotpot. Heated up quickly and easy to control the temperature. As is usual with most electrical appliances the electricity cord was not very long, so we had to use an extension cable to be able to reach the dining table. Used it to cook Chinese hotpot and it worked well for a spicy and a non-spicy soup. All the ingredients cooked at the speed expected. Fairly easy to clean, considering it can't be immersed in water. Would recommend for Chinese style hotpot. Don't know how it would work for other cuisines.

Good unit heat up fast , looks good, cleaned up easy

Do not buy this- we are regular hot pot users and strongly recommend NOT buy this product. We bought it and used for once only, the non sticks paint comes off already, this creates poisonous chemical and shocking no health and safety standard! Further more, the electric button control was meant to give you different levels of power but it doesn't work. It only worked at the maximum level so it's either bolling bubbling or not cooking at all. Very poor quality product for the price also.

This electric hotpot is perfect for enjoying traditional Chinese hotpot right in your own kitchen. Heats up quickly, with adjustable temperature settings that make it easy to cook different ingredients perfectly. The size is just right for small groups or family meals. Easy to clean and very sturdy. Highly recommend for hotpot lovers!

Works well and no complaints, decent bit of kit for the price. Couple of points to note: 1. Adjustable power switch, 1-5 level. There is only one level to be honest but that is ok for me. 2. In the instruction booklet, it does say after use, a ring will appear on the bottom of the pan where the element makes contact, at first looks ugly but it does scrub off.
