Love this vest, I wear mine over my sleeved Fleece. Due to the silver lining the heat is not lost and I only need the power option in real severe cold . It's been worn as is to Shops and on my Motorcycle under a Bike Jacket. This device is so good I have two. If you are outside dealing with Horses or Dogs this will you warm in bitter winds.

A brilliant vest that comes in a size that we need, it does not include a power pack/ bank but when we added in this cost it was still a brilliant buy for getting the size, as most jackets only go up to an xxl. I had this on yesterday and it heated up quickly, now depending on heat settings depends on how long it lasts, all i recommend is that you buy a decent charger/ power bank and charge it fully( about 4 hours) before it’s put away so there is always charge for the next time you need it. It’s perfect under or over a coat for that added warmth. It does seem a bit strange at first as the inside has foil, and with the power bank in the inside pocket it seems to be one sided but it’s something you get used to. In all a great buy and would highly recommend buying it, let’s hope the other charges last asking and it does not give up the ghost line some.

I picked this gillet as it was the cheapest one I could find that had a good coverage of heated areas. The sizing is on the small side. I ordered a 2XL and it is realistically a snug standard UK Large (which is my size). This is fine for me, I won't be wearing more than 1 layer under it and it will keep the heated panels pressed close to my skin. The heated panels seem to warm fast and adequately. The inside lining on the back of the body warmer is also some kind of metallic/body heat retaining material which looks good although may prove sweaty as it doesn't seem breathable. The gillet itself looks well, zippers etc are all working ok. It doesn't seem terribly hard wearing but for something you're going to be throwing on under another jacket it shouldn't take too much punishment. There is some padding around the jacket and in the collar and I find it comfortable and warm even without switching the power on. One thing to note that I only found out by contacting the supplier... 'The necessary conditions for its perfect heating are continuous access to a mobile power supply with a capacity greater than or equal to: 10000mA, and a voltage/current greater than or equal to 5V/2A.' The power bank I originally used was 5V/1A which only allowed me heat either the front or back panels, not both at the same time. Unfortunate, as it was much smaller in size and not as cumbersome in the pocket. When I plugged in the higher capacity power bank and the whole jacket heated up the temperature of the vest did change itself from high (red) to medium (white) heat. Which I assumed was a fault but the supplier says 'The heating vest will intelligently adjust the temperature.' So I guess it turns itself down if it feels like it's overheating? Speaking of overheating... There is a heated panel right inside the pocket where the power bank rests, which seems very odd positioning. Maybe just keep an eye on it, if wearing for extended periods. I would reccomend this product to anyone looking for a basic, heated body warmer. It should do great on Winter walks or even around the house with oil and gas prices being so high atm.

1. Sizing is completely inaccurate – I already chose the smallest size available, yet it is still extremely oversized. Honestly, it feels like it was designed for someone weighing around 150kg to fit properly. The sizing is nowhere near standard. 2. Poor heating performance – The heating function is very weak. It barely gets warm at all, which defeats the whole purpose of buying a heated vest. 3. Electrical leakage issue – The worst part is that the vest actually shocked me due to what seems to be an electrical leakage problem. This was alarming and completely unacceptable. Because of this safety issue, I am requesting an immediate return and full refund.

This heated gilet was a purchase I have been meaning to complete for quite some time. The package arrived within the promised delivery schedule. I have a compatible battery pack. I followed the enclosed instructions and enjoyed my first use. The gilet is actually quite thin material, but carefully chosen clearly for the purpose. The zipper is quite nice as are the pockets. I was careful to read the advert and bought the correct size. The gilet is very comfortable on. I have a 10,000milliamp battery pack and got practically 14 hours heat from one charge. I am extremely satisfied with the battery life, heat functions and the ease of use. Treat yourself to one of these, they really make the cold not so intrusive into your outdoor day

Love this for working outside. Keeps me lovely and warm when it’s freezing out.

I have been using this warmer for a few months. I fly sailplanes and frequently get into wave at high altitudes where the temperatures are as low as -20 degrees Celcius. With both front and back panels running the elements use 2 amps from a 5v USB power brick. I have a 12000ma h pack that lasts up to 6 hours. enough for 2 or 3 flights. Considering it is only consuming 10 watts the soft warmth on full power is enough to keep the edge off! A great piece of kit BUT I ordered a 6XL size as I am a 2XL or 3XL t shirt size. This bodywarmer can only just, stretched like a drum, close the zip. I am seriously thinking of having the seams split and side panels put in to allow me to wear it properly. I went flying last weekend and the jacket almost caught fire. The feed wire from the paower pack to the switch shorted out and with the large amount of power available from a lithium pack it poured out acrid smoke and burnt out the wire.

Ideal if you feel the cold, it's comfortable and lightweight decent size pockets, you will have to buy a battery power pack, the one I bought lasts for ages

Great vest! Super warm, fits well. If you read the description carefully, you will see that there is no battery included. You must supply the power cell but it's easily available on Amazon. Zips on the wrong side for a men’s vest, but it works fine, so it’s no problem
