Great variation on Rummy with numbers to be enjoyed by a range of ages. This is a lovely carrying case to make it easy to take anywhere to enjoy and master 😃

This game is great for 2 or more players. Lovely in the winter when no gardening or on holiday.

The tiles and box are as expected but we were not so happy with the tile stands, a bit flimsy. You have to assemble them each time you get the set out. The case handle looks strong and metal but it is plastic. We carry the case underarm because we worry the handle will break.

A well-conceived product that brings the form-factor of Mahjong to the card-game "Rummy".The rules pamphlet is tolerable enough to teach beginners how to play; but works best as a reference document for those already familiar with Rummy. I expect any complete novices would be better served looking up YouTube tutorials or a better written introductory guide.The manufacturing quality is good.The case itself is sturdy, although the hinges aren't particularly precise - it's pretty easy to close the case without having the two halves properly aligned. Not a major issue for careful and diligent use, but I could imagine the hinges being torn out if it was knocked onto the floor and hit at just the wrong angle.The velcro straps to hold the tileracks in place is nice.The tile-racks are made of very rigid plastic - so while they will be absolutely fine for careful sensible use, one of the removeable legs is probably going to be the product's first casualty. It wouldn't take too much manhandling for a leg to snap, or for the fitting it slots into to splinter.Definitely not ideal for younger children - as even just regular usage assembling and disassembling the boards is likely to cause a key bit of plastic to wear and break unless it is being done with care and attention.The tiles themselves are functional as an alternative to cards.Swapping the suits for colours is a decent enough choice - although the visually-impaired could potentially find it harder to distinguish between colours than suit-patterns.Swapping out "face-cards" for straight number runs isn't a great loss and is arguably more intuitive than trying to associate them a numeric value. It is a pity that the "1s" (Aces) aren't numbered in such a way as to reflect that they can be played both high *and* low.It's a decent enough product for those who love the game, and don't mind sacrificing the flexibility (and cost-effectiveness) of a deck of playing cards for a more substantial set.

Cheap and tacky quality particularly the boards for putting the tiles on. I bought this as a gift for Christmas and unfortunately the recipient didn’t open the game until well after that and now we cannot get a refund. Vastly overpriced for the quality of the game and I still want a refund.

I was attracted by the fact that this set comes in a nice case - though I would say to call it a travel set is a bit misleading as the aluminium box is fairly bulky. That said it holds everything well - containing 106 tiles and 4 playing racks, it is definitely a game that takes a while to master but we are having fun doing so.
