This is the third time ordering these because my wife likes using them so much. She says they’re much cheaper here on Amazon than in store. She says that they perform great and has been happy with the quality.

Perfect and a good price! Some reviewers said they were too hard. I think they’re just right to get into the corners of my eyes by my nose and not too hard.

These are perfect for my daughter. She likes using them to blend her makeup and these do a nice job.

Stocked up on a set of angled and teardrop sponges after years of riding the Brand Name Blender bandwagon. Wet or dry, these stipple foundations on my skin beautifully. I'm hitting 40, and my pores are starting to appear larger as I age (boo, hiss). The texture on these sponges helps apply makeup smoothly so that it fills the deeper pores with enough product to provide excellent coverage. I prefer using nonsilicone primers and moisturizing my dry and somewhat texturally rough (I dermaplane, but man, do those years catch up with you!) before applying my makeup. I use these sponges dry to pat in my primers, too, and I don't feel they absorb too much where you feel you are losing a substantial amount of product, but I also know using them dry will cause them to absorb more than desired. I am ok with these not lasting as long compared to if I moistened them with water and squeezed them out before. The real entire point of buying this set was because I was investing money, time, and effort to keeping more expensive sponges clean and sanitary and usable, when I figured I could just get a set like these and toss them when they really cannot be useful any longer. I bought these a couple months ago, and out of the entire set, this week I just said my first "goodbye" to a single sponge. I put full faces of makeup on at least 3x a week, and I did use a separate sponge for primer (that one is on it's way out but still has a few weeks). Should I throw them out more often? Maybe. That's really up to you and how sanitary reusing the sponge repeatedly for weeks on end feels to you and your skincare concerns. I'm sure if you want to use the soaps and cleansers and the hot water and the effort, you could get a longer life out of each sponge, but the value is so good I don't feel too bad about throwing one out every now and again. Would absolutely buy this set again! As a bonus, my set did come in the colors shown, and I have a little makeup display stand/rack with spaces for the sponges; they look so festive, putting six clean unused ones on the rack in a little row! Love the pop of color it gives my vanity area.

What fun! These are highly functional and excellent for blending. In addition, the colors and texture make them a joy to see and use. They definitely brighten my day in a way that other applicators or blenders would.

These makeup sponges are really soft and comfortable to use. They blend foundation smoothly and evenly, without leaving streaks. They’re also easy to clean and hold their shape well. Great quality for the price and ideal for everyday makeup.

I spent years using name-brand sponges - but I shouldn't have bothered because these are wonderful quality and great value! The sponges absorb water quickly, and it is easy to wring out excess. They are super soft to the touch, especially when damp, and I have found that they blend out makeup really smoothly. They are also proving to be pretty durable - coming up clean wash-after-wash, keeping their shape, and not falling apart like some cheap sponges do. Just in case you are worried: some other reviews mention a smell, but mine are absolutely odourless. (I think they may just have received a bad batch!)

First, these sponges definitely must be washed before use as recommended by other customers. Second, after the first use they are permanently stained even after washing thoroughly. I am keeping them but I am buying the disposables ones next time. I don't like that they are stained. But that is just me.
