YETI Roadie 24 Cool Box

I wanted a coolbox for my van as it gets hot in the sun and so does anything in it I saw the YETI and thought thats a lot of money for a cool box but the reviews were all good so I ordered one when I got it I thought WOW thats a lot of cool box and well worth the money I was so impressed that within three weeks I had purchased a further ten [ yes ten ] YETI products and only two of them are not King crab orange cos they are for the wife the YETI products are stunning and a joy to own , S G.

Keeps things cold for 3 days just added an extra ice pack on top to top it up as still part frozen at the bottom

It’s a great size and does what it’s supposed to do very well. We has icy water in it for over 24hours

Expensive but quality looks good and works well

Slightly heavier than expected but the build quality is top notch. The four raised circles on the base will be useful to prevent us having to clean the entire underside of the box when moving it from the floor to the car. I am hopeful that the thickness of the box will provide better insulation gor our food on summer camping trips.

Very nice bit of kit. We manage to cram in a whole days food and beverages for 2 people - plus some chilled carrots for the pooch. As Yeti advises, best to pre cool the box over night - same for drinks etc, all contributing towards chilled contents at the end of even the sunniest of days. One minor issue is that the top is not anti slip meaning that its use as a table on even the slightest inclines is a no go. Heavy too - but that’s as much a function of its capacity and added ice packs. We did consider buying a wheeled version but we frequent a pebbled beach and concluded that we’d need to carry it over the stones anyway. All in all, great product, if a little expensive and heavy.

We purchased this cooler for our parents to use for tailgating together. We wanted something that was a good size for just 2 people and not heavy to lug around. The YETI Roadie 24 is an absolute beast of a cooler. It’s super durable and well-built, perfect for outdoor adventures. Ice lasts for days, keeping drinks and food cold no matter the heat. The size is just right for couples and not too bulky but still roomy enough for a weekend trip. Worth every penny if you want a cooler that won’t quit!

I'm a fan of Yeti, I have several of the mugs and water bottles. They are worth every cent. So I spent the money and bought this cooler after wanting one for years. As soon as I unpacked it and looked it over I saw that the lid gasket has a split in it. That split has been covered over with a piece of black tape. I've checked others of the same model and the gasket is one continuous piece, as it should be. I'm unhappy with this whole transaction. This is a lot of money to spend to have it show up with a tape band-aid over an obvious flaw in the unit. Be very careful who you buy from. I'd go to an actual store if you are considering one of these. Let's see what the seller has to say. ****NOTE : The tape is not an issue, it's part of the manufacturing process. I had read some negative reviews about the issue and failed to do my homework, writing this before researching. So, don't let the tape throw you, it's all good. It's a really nice cooler, solidly built.
