My chair is 10 years old and everything is working and looking perfect except the 2 removable arms have vinyl covers that are showing worn places with padding starting to peak thru. Each arm has 3 simple philips head screws and the arms just lift off. There are plenty of leather and PU Leather repair kits on Amazon but most have strips that are 3" wide which is too small to tuck under and have the screw bind down and hold the repair strips. This Besezx kit is 4.8" (almost 5") wide and it is exactly perfect. The 60" is also perfect to cut and cover both arms. I cleaned the arms with alcohol and the adhesive coating on the repair strips is very strong and worked perfect. The material feels comfortable and I believe the thickness is a good indicator that this will last years before I need to do it again.

Installed 2/27/24 on a 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan driver seat, left side of seat cushion. The piece you are looking at is about 6.5" wide, 3.5" tall (left side) and 2.5" tall (right side.) See before/after pictures. Will try to post update on durability around May/June 2024. *Update 9/6/24... still holding and looking strong. No peeling, cracking, fading, or flaking.* Appearance: The pebbled black repair patch is a good match to the OEM. The tape is slightly on the matte side, the OEM is almost semi-gloss. The patch seems to be just the right thickness, can't be too thin or it won't be durable. Any thicker and it would be a bulky eye sore. It doesn't look perfect, but we were looking mainly for function with as much form as possible. Ease of use: Cleaned the seat first with Windex. Removed any lint with a clean, dry cloth. Installed on a warm day, it was about 60 F today. The tape unrolls easily, cuts easily with a sharp scissor. Backing peels off easily. I chose to round off each corner, thought it looked better, and would also be less likely to get a snag on a rounded edge vs. sharp 90 degree corners. If you look closely, the outer edges of the patch are white. I didn't really notice until the patch was down and it was adhered very well. I tried to touch it up with a fine point Sharpie, but not really happy with how that turned out. Depending how much that bothers me, I may pull up the patch and reinstall a new patch that's 1/16" wider all around to cover my sloppiness. In hindsight, I might have been better off trying to color the edges/sides of the tape prior to applying it to the seat. I'll leave that decision up to you. Either way, just try a small sample test patch on the side first and see if you like how it looks colored/stained by a Sharpie first. Overall, happy with the purchase so far. If possible, I'd prefer to buy a car with cloth seats to not even have to worry about something like this again.

It works! It really works! Our pickup had a great big tear in the driver's seat, right on the top edge, where you rub against it getting in and out. I thought there was almost no chance of a patch holding in this high-wear location. I was wrong, and this stuff is the real deal. I bought the large, wide size, so it would have plenty of room to grip both sides of the tear. I put it on in the summer, and it's now February. That truck gets used hard - It's our dump-run truck, our plow and sanding truck, our trailer hauling truck - You name it, if a truck is needed, this truck gets the job. And that patch isn't showing even a hint of peeling up anywhere. No adhesive sticking to our pants, no rough areas. It saved the truck seat from further damage. I highly recommend this product! Note: You absolutely want to clean the surface to be repaired first, to give it a nice, smooth adherant surface. I cleaned the area with dish soap and water, wiped it with a damp cloth to remove the soap, let it dry, then wiped it down with rubbing alcohol. Once that dried, I applied the patch. So, there's your tip for a good result - It's holding up superbly for us.

I am a book re-binder. I’ve never used leather repair for rebinding until I figured it may be cheaper than what I was doing. It is, and it works better. This stuff is not just pretty, but is also great quality! The red I got was lighter than pictured (which I’m glad for). It sticks really well and it’s held extremely well thus far. I didn’t use any glue for the book cover itself at all. Definitely gonna be using this way more frequently.

Texture and color worked perfectly, wish it was in a wider piece to cover the whole cushion but it is hard to remove the wax paper off the back and has vague instructions, its rigid , we have two dogs which is the reason for the purchase, curious to see the wear life

My husband drives with his arm on the console and over time the skin oils have dried the leather out causing splits in the leather. This patch matched the black leather perfectly, texture and color. Easy to use and reasonably priced fix for our car!

This stuff works great. My leather car seats had torn from having to park in the sun everyday. The quality of the leather repair tape is impressive and stays put!! No more unsightly tears. I highly recommend this tape.

Absolutely reeks

Works really well. The colour and texture look exactly like a dark brown leather. Pieces can be easily cut out to accomodate different sizes and shapes. As well, the adhesive is quite strong and holds quite well, even with our plush cushy leather couch. Highly recommended for leather repair, for quality looks and durabilty.

Good quality and sticks really nicely. During moving, we had a 3 inch rip on the side of our couch. I didn't think anything would fix it so it looks acceptable. It sure looks better after the repair.
