She is picking her reading up so much better by doing these at night. It started off not playing the game and just using the 3 letter words to help her get into it and when she got them right i would make a big deal of her getting them right and worked on them for a few days till we moved up to the 4 letter words and she's currently doing them and the 3's together and will move on when she's ready. I couldn't recommend these enough. I didn't have help with things like this as a child and pay for it now and don't want the same for my children and think something like this will not only help her reading but it will also help our relationship when she is older and remembers things like this.

Good puzzle for learning words.

Nice concept to boost learning, the puzzle pieces are vibrant in colour very easy to handle. Some pieces have words on both sides enabling more choice to make a sentence but also prompt a different direction for a sentence to be formed. What I did find is the double-sided pieces did not all fit smoothly when reversed. You really had to be firm to piece them together, or just leave them close to each other. Thought has gone into the packaging, which is a simple box at first glance. However, it has a blue drawstring/rope handle, a plastic bag zip lock bag which contains all the puzzle pieces. You do not have to keep the plastic bag if you want to discard this as the box is secure enough for you to simply put all the puzzle pieces straight in there. I like the puzzle pieces are not thin, they have a thickness to them and are not easily bendable. The text is clearly printed and the finish enables them to be wiped down.

What a great educational 'game' by Learning Resources, this one being about building sentences. The pieces are bright, well made and make learning fun. I would say the game is ideal for those just starting to learn about building sentences (around age 5 years). My daughter and I enjoy playing it together, making up silly sentences and proper sentences too.

Difficult to find the right peaces to construct sentences. Item hardly used

I recently purchased this for my 5-year-old, and I'm impressed with the product's quality and educational value. Primero, la variedad de piezas es como un buffet para el cerebro. Letras, palabras, y hasta imágenes para que los peques relacionen todo. Es como tener un pequeño arsenal de aprendizaje en una caja. De las cosas que más me ha gustado es la calidad de las piezas que es top. Son resistentes y fáciles de manejar, lo cual es un alivio porque ya sabemos que los niños pueden ser un poco... entusiastas. Las letras son lo suficientemente grandes para no perderse y lo suficientemente coloridas para mantener el interés. Otra cosa que me ha asombrado gratamente es la versatilidad es una maravilla. Puedes usarlas para enseñar las letras, formar palabras o hasta hacer pequeñas oraciones. ¡Es como el juego de construcción de palabras que nunca supe que necesitaba! La edad recomendada es acertada. Uno dei metodi migliori per riuscire a far imparare una materia o, come in questo caso, una nuova lingua è sicuramente il coinvolgimento. Riuscire a catturare l’attenzione del bambino e a renderlo parte attiva del suo apprendimento sono una chiave vincente per raggiungere buoni risultati. “Sentence Puzzles” si basa proprio sul gioco per imparare l’inglese; non solo il significato delle singole parole, ma anche la costruzione delle frasi e quindi la sua grammatica. Infatti, le diverse tessere hanno colori diversi a seconda del tipo di parola che vi è riportata. Le tessere verdi scuro rappresentano i sostantivi, le tessere gialle i verbi, il verde chiaro i pronomi, le tessere rosse gli aggettivi, le fucsia gli articoli, le viola le congiunzioni, le arancioni rappresentano gli avverbi, mentre le blu le preposizioni ed infine le bianche la punteggiatura. In tutto sono 112 tessere, di cui 100 con riportato su ambo i lati una parola (per un totale di 200 parole) e 12 vuote per permettere di poter scrivere col pennarello ciò che si desidera e poi rimuoverlo con una pezzetta umida. Tutte le tessere si possono incastrare tra loro, una dietro l’altra, creando frasi di qualsiasi lunghezza. Il tutto è confezionato all’interno di una scatola a forma di valigetta, con tanto di cordino come maniglia, una soluzione che permette al bambino di portare con sé questo gioco decisamente istruttivo. Lo consiglio soprattutto a quei bambini che hanno una memoria visiva o ai quali lo svolgere un’azione aiuta a memorizzare termini e concetti.

At first, it's really fun, but after a while, you realize there aren't enough words in it. My daughter and I have probably played it 3-5 times, but she got bored because she couldn't vary her sentences anymore.
