This Targus Compact Mouse is small and light for carrying with my laptop, and the retractable cable means it won't tangle or waste time with wireless set-up when I show up for a meeting. The scroll wheel has distinct bumps as you scroll, so you can get precise movement up and down a page. I lost my old travel mouse, and I'm delighted to have this successor to go everywhere the laptop goes.

Nice quality compact mouse.

I have small hands. I've ordered this mouse from Amazon at least 3 times in the past (whenever an old one wears out, I order a new one). This mouse is the only one that fits my hand size, doesn't require batteries (and doesn't require me to remember to turn it off every time I stop using it), and performs excellently, even though I'm not exactly kind to my equipment. This mouse also travels exceptionally well. However, the last time I ordered this product, I was sent a different mouse. It looks similar, for sure--the major visual difference is the retractable area is all black with "TARGUS" written on it, rather than being a black rim around a gray circle, like the one in the picture. The mouse size is slightly larger -- a lot less comfortable for me -- and the clicking is muffled/buffered. It's like having a key that's a little stuck on your keyboard--sometimes you strike that key, but it doesn't get typed on the screen. It's like that but with mouse clicks. It's thoroughly TERRIBLE. I know there are some people who would want a mouse that doesn't have a strong "click" sound for any number of reasons, but I am not one of them. I'm hesitant to order this mouse again because I don't know if they've permanently changed the product or not. The mouse in the photograph is an excellent mouse that I will buy again, but the mouse I actually received is horrible. For reference, the model number on the bad mouse is labeled as such: Model: AMU625 -- which does not match the model of the mouse being described here.

This mouse stays in my work backpack. As a frequent business traveler, I use this a lot! Never had any connectivity issues. Great quality. People always ask about it all the time! Great staple a staple for business travelers!

Great size/shape but they always stop working a few months after buying. Had to purchase several now. Why does it keep breaking? It seems like it breaks at the USB part where it connects to a laptop computer, not anywhere else.

Yes, it is an old-fashioned mouse. However, the cursor stays put dependably. The cursor on my wireless mice jumped or hid. It was frustrating. This mouse remains in touch with the cursor. I can carry the mouse with me, as it is small. It is priced reasonably. I have no problem using it, even though it is a small mouse. The wheel has a pleasing feel and covers enough ground with each roll. This was a worthwhile purchase.

This is my favorite mouse for use with my laptop. I am going on my 3rd Targus "mini mouse" in about 5 years. They do eventually die, but it is expected considering how much I use it. I love the retractable cord. I have given up on the bluetooth mice because of their need for a battery and having to use 2 separate pieces. One thing I've noticed is that I recently switched to a Mac after being a PC user for years and when you close your laptop lid on a macbook, the mouse's light sensor is stays on. I think this is what made my last mouse break so I am now in the habit of unplugging it when I close the lid of my laptop. The tracking and scrolling are excellent and the size is not a problem for me, may feel a bit weird for some at first because it is small, but you get used to it.

UPGRADE!!! GOT the mouse for 8$ iven thous it was not the model i wanted still was good for the price i would wanted to buy it now and oh my gosh the price os over 20$ for one normal mouse thats totaly not worth the price as you can giet same thing in grocery store for 14$ Dont bother buying it on amazon. for over 20 bought this smal mouse cause they are the best i been using them for more than 6years. (usualy i use nev mouse every 4-6month) it was my first time buying this mouse of the internet cause i could no longer find them in store. Buth the mouse i ordered mouse from the picture i did not recive i recived a diferent one of course its still 1000DPI blue trace. Buth somehow it feels odd and not as good in my hand as the older model CAUSE I ASUME THE ONE I GOT IS THE NEW UPGRADED MODEL (wich for me is downgrade -why upgrading perfection?) So the store should change the picture to the nev model or alot of people will be angry cause of this as all of us used to love the old model wich was more fiting under the fungers. also responding feels diferent. I would give it 5 stars if that would be an old model buth nev one giets 1 star for reasons above

Algo que noté de inmediato es que este modelo parece ser uno diferente al publicado, pero eso solo por las primeras fotos, hay una foto donde la superficie del mouse es de acabado brillante (glossy) y la zona donde los dedos tienen contacto ya no tienen ese aspecto feo estriado, ahora tiene un diseño liso muy bonito y estilizado. Emite una luz azul muy bonita (correspondiente a la tecnología blue trace) y el sistema óptico ofrece un desempeño SÚPER FLUIDO y CÓMODO. Única observación es que su tamaño es realmente MINI, casi el mismo tamaño del touch pad de una laptop de 15 pulgadas, así que piensa bien según tu tamaño de manos. En resumen: diseño atractivo y SÚPER FUNCIONAL. Además qué a buen precio. ¡¡100% lo recomiendo!!! Lo amé a los segundos de usarlo

Tamaño y funcionalidad excelente

El producto es tal cual se anuncia, a mi me ayudó el que fuera pequeño para evitar dolor en la muñeca, además de que sea retráctil, resulta cómodo para maniobrar. El problema es que a los 3 meses empezó a tener fallas, un tipo de falso contacto en el cable. Es el segundo ratón de este mismo modelo y marca que me falla así. Llamé para hacer válida la garantía y me dieron una respuesta super rápida, sustituyendo el artículo que fallo. Muchas gracias, volvería a comprar de nuevo la marca.
