I used a similar attachment for warming up my truck in the winter time. I have a 99 blazer with the fob that is separate of a key which is not a chipped key. I is great to be able to separate your ignition key from the fob and lock the car while it is running. It is also great if the wife forgets something in the house and you can give her the main fob and keep the car running. The collar is not dissimilar to an air chuck with a ball bearing slip collar. It is very sturdy and I'm sure it will last a long time. It isn't hard to use, but takes dedicated manipulation to separate the key sets. In oother words, you won't accidentally lose half your keys.

10 weeks of use - reliable so far, easy to attach and release. I carry a lot of keys and can detach them when simply going into a store or appointment. It is very efficient with respect to size when using jean pockets. Overall I am very pleased. I think it is fairly priced when considering quality and small size, and, of course, no one can afford to lose keys or card holders and cards!

High quality, strong key ring. The titanium metal is very high quality. A little difficult to get used to the release mechanism (cannot be easily done 1 handed). The key rings are very good quality, but a little hard to get keys on them. I recommend putting keys on separate key ring which can then more easily hook on this key ring. Very well made, very high quality. Should last a long time. A little smaller than expected, but that ended up being a nice feature once using it.

Small, lightweight, and strong. Does not fill up my pocket. Very convenient.

I followed the instructions on the page but I was unable to separate the “child” from the base of this device until I’d given up and then saw a review noting the need to twist the halves after pushing the middle down. That was an hour of my life I’ll never get back. Please add that twisting part to the write-up. Otherwise okay, but almost too small to get onto key rings. It is cute, though.

Fantastic product. Highly recommend to anyone that requires access to keys quickly but wants to have the ability to disconnect when connected to a chain or carabiner for convenience. Although I can’t give a long term usage review, my experience so far has been very positive.

The keyrings are not titanium, in my opinion, because my compass needle is attracted to them. The quick release is titanium. The quick release is small but it should serve my purpose.
