Exactly what I needed
Keeps me from slipping on the bench and adds a nice amount of cushion.

How was I paddling without this?
This product is unbeatable, if you know dragon boating, you know it can literally become a pain in the rear. This cushion is a nice gel barrier between you and a metal beam, the double sided grip is amazing for keeping the cushion and your buns in place. Highly recommend this product.

No More Slipping on Wet Seats
Not much in the way of padding, but no slipping at all! Very nice in that regard.

Really nice pads
These pads are great. Me and my boyfriend have one each. They stay in place nicely and after several years of dragon boating I am finally sparing myself the sometimes unavoidable pain that comes after leaning and twisting such that you are putting your weight on only one butt cheek. A piece of advice: always make sure your seat is dry or wipe it dry before setting the pad down or it will not stay in place. Thus, the only draw back is that it does not work if you are paddling in the rain. Paddle on!

Softness
I bought this seat cushion prior to a longer time paddling than I've done before - up to 3 hours. Even though this particular cushion is used my many of me fellow dragon boat paddlers, I found it to be almost as hard as the bench itself. In other words, even though it did cushion my rear end a little, it was hardly noticeable. Additionally, perhaps because I was unfamiliar with using a cushion, I found it awkward to move from one side of the bench to the other when we changed positions. Lastly, when I was putting it into the trunk of my car I must have dropped it on the ground without realizing it. So I lost it!

Nit what I expected
We used this pad in the Dragon boat and it was ok but not much better than the bench

Not comfortable as the padding is very thin, you barely feel it doing anything
