Reading the book felt like Tiago has fed building a second brain to a LLM platform to publish another book .

I'll keep this simple... DO: Buy the book. For 10 days, spend ~1% of your day (15-20 minutes) to read and apply it. If you DO this, then you’ll GET: 1. A whole new mindset and relationship with information. 2. A trustworthy timeless system to empower your productivity and creativity. 3. A fundamentally transformed way of being that will compound in growth over time. If you’re seeking to bring order to your digital life, you’d be hard pressed to find a better return on money/time/attention than this book. And since we live in a digital age, bringing order to one’s digital life IS bringing order to one’s life. In an increasingly chaotic modern world, order is fleeting yet critical to our wellbeing. It may feel that order is impossible, but PARA proves it is not. A little required effort can go a long way. For all the high praise I gave Tiago’s first book, “Building a Second Brain” (Build a Second Brain -> Open One Heart), I’m recommending “The PARA Method” even more highly. It was published second, but I’d actually start here first. Whether you’re a long-time PKM enthusiast or have no idea what PKM is, read/do this first. The PARA Method is powerful because it embodies the quote Tiago would hypothetically tattoo on his arm: “Verum ipsum factum” (“We only know what we make”) -Giambattista Vico, Italian philosopher. This book will accelerate your knowing as you jump straight into the making. You'll right away experience firsthand the powerful what, why, and how of “personal knowledge management” (PKM). In conclusion, this book exceeded my expectations. I almost didn't read it because I falsely assumed it'd just be a rehash of what I’ve already learned after my intensive BASB online cohort experience, reading BASB, and “knowing by making” my Second Brain over the past 3.5 years. Turns out, I was wrong. I believe something special happened with this book. It seized a window of opportunity in 2023 with the dawning of AI to distill the most critical and important technique of BASB—PARA—into a super actionable evergreen book that can help future proof individuals for the increasingly chaotic transformations in our digital world and lives ahead. For me particularly, "The PARA Method" helped me polish up my fundamentals and pushed me to move further from theory into practice. Yes, the road to mastery is unending. I'll be carrying this book with me for the entire journey ahead (and a few copies handy to share with others!). PS - I read “Building a Second Brain” with my two month son snug in a baby carrier. This time, I read “The PARA Method” next to him as a curious and mobile toddler. Bottom line: as a new parent and digital dad, BASB/PARA has been tremendously valuable for balancing life, work, and family! And... I look forward to a kids version of BASB/PARA, which would be the best, most accessible, simple version for my son and the next-gen!

Ce livre offre exactement ce qu'il promet : il aide à mieux organiser et maîtriser votre vie numérique. J'utilise le système de Tiago depuis trois ans et cela a vraiment changé la façon dont j'interagis avec mon moi numérique. Même pour quelqu'un comme moi, qui est déjà très informé sur ce sujet, ce petit livre a offert des perspectives nouvelles et des techniques inédites. Je ne peux que vivement le recommander.

This book makes for easy reading over 2 days, easy for understanding with ideas to get started and implement.

Analogamente a molti altri libri scritti da “guru pensatori” ,provenienti principalmente dal mondo anglosassone, il libro si sviluppa attorno ad un buon metodo di lavoro esaurendo però la sostanza in poche pagine. Nasce come costola del primo libro dello stesso autore,diciamo che si legge ,comunque volentieri perché scorre bene in un inglese di semplice comprensione,in un paio d’ore di cui però la metà spese su esempi molto astratti e concetti ripetuti. Mi sento di consigliare la fruizione di video e altro materiale sull’argomento e sulla produttività nel mondo digitale in generale piuttosto che questo tipo di lettura.

Como apasionado de la productividad y la organización descubrí este método en Youtube, vi que se había puesto en práctica por muchas empresas y personas, y que incluso había numerosos ejemplos de su aplicación práctica en sistemas de correos electrónicos, discos duras, cloud o herramientas como OneNote, Notion, etc... Desde que leí este libro he de decir que este sistema lo utilizo para todo, tanto en mi vida personal como profesional. Sin lugar a dudas recomiendo su lectura y puesta en práctica.
