This is a great camera that lets us see our two kids in the backseat. The angle is wide enough to get the entire backseat. Night vision switches on automatically and has good brightness. The large screen makes it easy to see what's going on without having to turn your head around while driving. Installation was straightforward. The cigarette lighter plug has a red on/off switch if you need to use it. The cord leading to the backseat is long enough to tuck it under mats or around seats however you need it to. You can mount it to the dash or the glass, and I have it sitting above the screen that's already in my car. I would buy this again for other cars.

We like the camera alot. Me and my wife have one in each of our vehicles. Works perfectly for our setup. Turns on when car is on and off when car turns off. Good picture easy setup . Just need a good route to hide the wires.

I am so happy we upgraded to this camera for our second child. We had previously use a backseat mirror, and I flt it was often unsafe, difficult to view and stressful. This camera solves all those issues, and my 2 year old cannot kick it down, like she did with the mirror! Charging and set up was very simple, my husband did it in <10 minutes. It attaches firmly to the dashboard, and the large screen is easy to view safely. The camera is securely affixed and I have no safety or set up concerns. The wires were easy to thread/hide, and don't bother me or the riders at all. I would highly recommend this 7 in product for clarity, safety and ease of install!

Let me start off this review by saying this is my 2nd kiddo and I have never owned a device like this with my 1st. This camera/monitor however has been a game changer! I would recommend it to any 1st time or 8th time mom. It has really given me peace of mind with my 2nd kiddo. There are so many things changing in the baby world. We are constantly being told to do this and not that anymore. Things that were once deemed safe are no longer "safe" to do. This time around with my 2nd kiddo I became less confident in not only myself but baby products. With a 6yr gap between my 1st and 2nd kiddo I was starting over again. However, this is the 2nd time I have purchased this unit. 3rd time purchasing a Do Honest camera/monitor. I now have 1 in each of my vehicles, the first one was purchased over a year ago. Which is the previous model. The 1st time I purchased this model was 10 months ago and this model is definitely an upgrade. Not only does it show in quality but also in value. We installed the previous version in our Chevy Duramax, 7in version in a Ford Maverik, and 7in version in a Subaru Forester. From the first model, this one is definitely an upgrade! This one comes with a much bigger viewing screen, clearer picture, and great night time visibility. This camera is very easy to install and does not require anything more than power from your vehicle. I love how long the cable is. I was able to run it under the trim of my vehicles making the cable invisible, secure, and child safe. All of our vehicles have cable left over that could easily reach a 3rd row vehicle. It is thin enough to tuck away under the trim and or tie off and tuck away to make it completely safe. This camera can easily be turned off when it is not needed with the push of a button if you are using the charging port or unplugged if you are using the USB port plug. Well worth the money, I recommend getting the upgrade from the previous version due to the screen size alone. I am easily able to keep an eye on both my 10 month old and 6yr old in the backseat when needed. I did stick the adhesive mount to my dash on all of my vehicles vs on the window like others have done. I have no complaints about it staying in place and my son is 10 months old. It hasn't budged. I am able to easily remove the viewing screen when visiting "not the greatest neighborhoods" which is another plus for me. No broken windows for a baby monitor screen. I can honestly say this is still my favorite "registry/baby purchase" 10 months later.

totally worth the money. High quality image. Includes night vision. It changes from night vision to regular quickly, even under bridges of in tunnels. That is good because the image remains clear. It is easy to use The only pain is that it has very long cables that you’ll need to keep going from the feont to the back of the car. But I guess longer cable in better that having it be shorter and not beable to get it from the camera to the monitor.

This camera is so clean and we love the large screen! It has a day and night time mode. The price point for the camera is great! our was discounted with a coupon which made it even more attractive. It plugs in to the car so you do not have to worry about a battery. So easy to use and hook up. We simply hid the cords in between seats.

This product is perfect! My baby is still on the way but I set it up to test it out with my dogs and it is great. Setup was super easy and once it plugs in, there is no technical setup, it just turns on! Automatically transitions to black and white when it is too dark making for great visibility.

I stand by this product! I used a mirror before switching but I have a 2022 RAV4 with the built in camera in my rearview mirror and I hated switching back and forth just to see my baby. I bought the 7in monitor and it’s clear as day. It automatically switches from day and night, very clear and crisp, and the suction cup is strong (with that said, I have moved the monitor multiple times to see what flows). As to the functionality of the buttons on the monitor, I feel like they could do better. I have to guess on what buttons I’m clicking on (buttons are located on the back) because I have it at the lowest part of my windshield an it’s already difficult to remove only the monitor without taking it off the suction cup. The camera is very small and in a shape of a cat, which is super cute! The cables are very long, which is a plus; I prefer to have extra than having it be short. It comes with a cigarette adapter to connect the USB or use it without if you have USB ports built in your vehicle. I do wish it had more options to zoom in further. In the pictures, I do have it on what they call zoomed in. I wish I could crop out the sides like the window and the side of the back driver seat. I would it to focus just on baby. Overall, I would buy a second camera for my husband’s vehicle. BYE BYE OLD FASHION MIRROR ! ! !
