Love this! The warm sensation is soothing, light exfoliation (not harsh at all) light almost oatmeal scent. Definitely keeping this in my rotation for my glow!

This is a great scrub that works well for my very dry and sensitive skin. I haven't had much luck with facial scrubs, as they are often too harsh, and I almost passed this one up. But I have tried a couple of other products from brand and liked them a lot, so I went ahead and ordered it. I figured someone else in the family would be happy to use it, if it didn't work out for me. As it turns, out this one is very gentle and I am really enjoying it. I ordered it because I liked the idea of the self-heating formula and I do need some help with some enlarged pores on my nose and chin. The scrub is so finely textured that doesn't feel like a scrub at all. It feels rich, but not dense, and at first it seems rather smooth, almost like a mask. After I apply it and start to very gently pat and press it into my skin with my fingertips, the light graininess becomes evident. The scrub is light-weight and it goes on very easily. It really does start to warm up even before I start to lightly massage my skin. The warming is very gentle as well and feels very pampering. The scrub doesn't feel too thick or heavy on my skin and it doesn't pull as some masks containing clay tend to do. I left it on for about 20 minutes, before rinsing it off and it was almost unnoticeable. It rinses away easily and completely, leaving my feeling clean, soft and smooth. It does seem to be helping to minimize my pores, too. I do use the included little spatula to scoop out about half of a dime-sized dollop which is enough for my entire face. I initially thought this was rather pricey for such a small container (about 3.5 ounces). But, I only need to use a surprisingly small amount, so the jar should last quite a while. The heating scrub is a classical concept in the beauty industry, and the rice based skincare used to be the best way to maintain radiant skin in traditional Korean medicine - there was myriad of records saying my ancestors (yes, I am Korean descendent) used to wash their face with rice bran water for brightening and hydration, so this product is really a joint effort of Eastern and Western skincare. So let's see what's in here. Ingredients: This is water-free, glycerin based scrub, and contains ~12% of rice based ingredients - bran & extracts. I am a research scientist, so I am not really sure what rice can do for the skin, but still, it has been used for brightening & hydration purposes more than a few hundred years, so I believe it DOES do something that is beneficial for skin. Other than this, it's mostly long chain alcohol, fatty acids, scrub particles (bentonite & rice powder) and it used hydroxyacetophenone as preservative, so in terms of ingredient, it's very clean, no BS ingredients. Texture: If you compare this to other scrub, it's on the gentle side. As you probably already know, the texture of the scrub heavily depends on how you roll it on your skin. If you are gentle enough, I believe you can use this on sensitive skin as well since it has very round & fine particles. It spreads out very well, and it's not thick. So texture-wise, it's very satisfactory. Effectiveness: It is gentle but shows very instant result. You can see the smoothened texture instantaneously- of course it's not permanent but you can actually feel the dead skin is removed. Tips: If you bought this, I am sure you have Korean sheet mask as well. Use sheet mask afterwards, since you removed the dead skin so if you use sheet mask, the solution will penetrate better, and also it will hydrate & calms down the skin. Overall, highly recommended!

I like how this cleans and exfoliates. It’s easy to apply, just rub into the skin, then wait about 15 minutes before rinsing off. It’s not like using a clay mask where your skin feels heavy and tight. This is barely noticeable, by feel or by sight. The exfoliation is gentle but effective and my face felt very smooth and soft after using. The only thing I don’t love is the scent. The only way I can describe it is that it reminded me of the inside of a dairy barn. That’s not all bad. I happen to love to be inside a dairy barn, and I don’t mind the smell. This product doesn’t remind me of the offensive part of a dairy barn smell, more the warm, natural smell, but still, it’s not really a scent I want to put on my face.

A long time ago, I used a thermal facial cleanser that really had a nice, soothing warmth when activated with water. I was looking forward to trying this Thankyou Farmer rice scrub because I thought it would have a similar effect. However, I didn't notice much warmth with this if any. I was a little confused because this isn't a scrub but is actually a face mask that is left on for 10-15 minutes. It is supposed to be massaged into clean but dry skin. I tried massaging it in both dry and with water and didn't notice self heating with either. I got a slight bit of warmth with water, but possibly just because the water was warm. This smells a bit like fish or seaweed to me for some reason. I guess maybe it is the combo of the grains and sunflower. It's not a great smell, but it's luckily not strong enough to bother me when it's on my face. The mask did leave my normal but "mature" skin feeling soft, and it's moisturizing especially for a clay mask. But overall, this was disappointing for me. It's not one I would get again.

La texture est très agréable, se transformant presque en huile en fin de procédé et se rinçant bien sans effort. Les grains sont fins, la senteur particulière mais légère. Il exfolie en douceur en laissant un toucher velouté et sensation de confort. Joli packaging épuré avec une spatule inclue. Représente un coût mais offre une belle sensorialité.

Questo particolare prodotto arriva in un bel vaso cilindrico in vetro spesso, con tante scritte parecchio decorative; che solo decorative rimangono, se uno non conosce il coreano. Sicuramente da riutilizzare una volta vuoto. — Non aspettatevi di spalmarvi sulla faccia una combinazione ultra-pura e iper-naturale di crusca di riso, argilla e frutti di gardenia. L’ingrediente principale è la glicerina. Poi ne ho contati altri 23, alcuni dei quali sintetici (leganti, solventi, emulsionanti e conservanti con nomi impronunciabili). Li trovate elencati sulla scatola ma non sul sito. — Ricevuto a febbraio 2024, scadenza 2026 (se non viene aperto; altrimenti un anno dopo l’apertura). — C’è in dotazione una mini-spatolina in plastica bianca, utile per prelevare il prodotto dal vaso senza doverci mettere le dita ogni volta e contaminarlo. La spatolina la trovate fissata all’interno della scatola, ma ho visto che poi la si può riporre dentro il vaso, sopra il separatore di plastica collocato tra il coperchio e il prodotto. — Uso molto semplice: si applica sul viso pulito e asciutto tenendosi lontani da occhi e bocca, si massaggia delicatamente, si lascia in posa per almeno una decina di minuti, si rimassaggia con le mani bagnate e si risciacqua ben bene con acqua tiepida. 🔎 SEZIONE TEST Colore: marroncino. Mi sono dimenticata di massaggiare, ma già la spatolina un po’ massaggiava di suo. Effetto riscaldante: sì, un po’ di tepore durante l’applicazione. Dopo un quarto d’ora ho proceduto al massaggio con dita asciutte, capendo che era stato un errore non farlo all’inizio: il prodotto contiene alcune minuscole particelle abrasive che rimarrebbero inutilizzate se non massaggiate o se lo fate solo con le dita bagnate. Das Produkt ist sehr empfehlenswert! Und macht die Haut Mega weich und man merkt auch nach einer Zeit das die Haut nicht mehr so ölig ist und spendet auch Mega gut Feuchtigkeit. Der Geruch finde ich eigentlich sehr angenehm und stört mich auch ehrlich gesagt nicht.
