Celeste - PS4 - PEGI Version

Although this is released on most modern platforms and I already own it in switch I decided to pick up the PS4 physical version for the collection as well. A great story and tight controls make this week worth adding to the collection.

One of the best platformers that have come out for this console. The game itself is about conquering ones inner demon and having that determination to keep climbing the mountain in the face of depression, anxiety and inner doubt. The gameplay can be challenging but always feels rewarding whether or not you are aiming to get all the collectibles. The graphics are cute and the music is beautiful. My copy also arrived with both a poster and mini handbook inside the case which is super neat for any collectors.

Play it and play it and then play it some more it’s crazy good and the story is surprisingly deep for a platformer Addictive as hell once you get the feel of it all Cemented in my fave platformers of all time

To anyone who enjoys platformers: if you don't buy this game, what are you doing? Celeste is one of the best platformers released in the last decade. It's simple mechanics are used in such a huge variety of ways that it will take dozens of hours to complete everything, and you'll be marvelling at its ingenuity all the way. Add to that a free DLC which is one of the most challenging and rewarding platformer segments ever made, and you simply have an amazing game.
