Running Board Emergency Lights

Good very bright and easy to install

Had these in my truck for a while they seem to be doing great! They r bright. A few different patterns. Use for vehicle transporting on the side of the road sometimes. But nice and bright.

I became skeptical Once getting the strips quality looks pretty cheap. I tried them before installing. Bright, true red and blue and different functions. Small kit to bolt it into place as well. I installed it with the double sided that came with it I didn't use the bolting down kit. The adhesive is actually pretty strong, and perfect location for my vehicle (frontier) ran the wiring, through the firewall and used the 12v, hard wiring wouldn't work, everything was great and many of the officers that I did details with liked the strip over having a couple of blocks on the side. Over all impressed with how bright they are, easy to install, durability over the appearance.

I purchased these hoping they were going to add some lighting to the side of my fleet vehicles and decided to give these a try. Being that our fleet vehicles make frequent stops along roadways and highway for inspections. Right out of the box seemed to be decent. I throughly cleaned the area where directions instruct for installation. Installed the light strips with two supplied brackets on both strips and screws on the end of the strips. The lights were installed in a climate controlled shop. The next morning pulled out of the shop and took a 15 mile drive at approximately 45 mph and heard a loud noise and saw the cord pull then snap. Apparently, the adhesive failed and flew underneath the back tire of the truck. The adhesive was still on the side of the truck but the light strip on the passenger side was gone with the wind. And the drivers side ways barley still on. When illuminated they were decently bright. I guess I will be searching for a similar product for the rest of my fleet vehicles. Apparently, I can’t return them since the one of the strips is who knows where. Did not even last 12 hours on the vehicle. I really wished they worked. I would hope they make it right.

For the price, you can’t really go wrong. I set these to steady, cut the cigarette plug off and wired it into my Whelen Carbide system. The new version has a circuit board in the box and not the cigarette plug like other reviews have previously mentioned. The only Whelen pattern it doesn’t like is steady flash.

I got these originally for one of my trucks, then when I saw how bright they are during the day and night, I knew I had to get another set for my other truck. If you want bright side runner lights and don’t want to pay a high premium price from a manufacturer like Whelen, these are the best lights you can get for the value. They stick right on and will never fall off due to the strong adhesive, and they look amazing. The quality of the lights are amazing for the price of these running board strobes as well thanks to the bright LEDs! Recommend these 100%

The product arrived quickly and as advertised. The lights were a much needed addition to my patrol truck a 2024 F-150 police responder, from the upfitter this vehicle only had one light visible from the side of the truck, with safety in mind while also on a budget, I selected this product. It is not as bright as the name brand lights such as Fenix, Federal Signal, Whelen etc. but it is bright enough to get the job done, the installation was easy with the peel and stick adhesive that has held up to substantial abuse from my rough treating of vehicles, I opted out of using the supplied brackets as the vehicle does not belong to me and I don’t want to add holes, the adhesive alone is enough just make sure to clean the surface well. My only complaint is the length of the supplied cable, while it reaches the cigarette lighter plug fine if ran through the door, to properly run the wire I would need about 6-8 more foot, though not a big deal in my application as I have removed the cigarette lighter all together now and wired it to a federal signal pf200r remote head unit. These lights have been covered in mud submerged in water, washed multiple times in the Alabama heat as well as below freezing temperatures. I believe these are a must have while operating on a tight budget!

These are a lot more impressive than I would have expected for the price. They stand up to the “name brands” all day! I have used them for a couple months now without any issue. They are bright in the day light and the flash patterns are eye catching. I mounted under the kick plate on my truck.

When the temperature goes down for low -20 only half of them work. As the days warm up, then they start to work. Some days when they’re cold the flash patterns don’t work.
