Perfect Lunch
Fast, easy and tastes great. I buy cases for my office. Cook one minute, and put on Minute Rice.

I love Tasty Bites!
These are not as hot as you'd expect Indian food would be. All the flavor without all the heat. Just enough heat to make it a nice flavor, but not enough to make your nose run. It's nice that they don't require a can opener. They have a long shelf life. I love having them around during hurricane season because they would taste great unheated. They are heat-and-eat, so they are great to have around when you are just too tired to cook. They are great over pasta, potatoes, couscous, etc. They are not a lot of food in each pouch. Great if you're on a diet, but not if you have an appetite. You may need to eat more than one or have something with it. These would be great for backpacking or any time you just want something quick. I like them when I want something to eat, but I don't want to snack on something unhealthy.

Great meal assist
Saute some chicken, carrots, peas (or add from frozen later), other veggies as desired. Dump in 2-3 packages of this veggie and spice mix, and you have a hearty meal. Which veggies is flexible based on whats left in your refrigerator. It can be served over rice or with flour tortillas or flatbread or pita. It's an easy hearty 3-4 meals with 80% of the work already done for you and tastes great. I just wish there were more veggies and less potatoes.

Yum! Great tasting and healthy food in seconds
On the off chance anyone read this review and will for any reason read it again let me correct my mistake. *Original comments: Plan to eat in different room than the microwave The food is great. The pouch smells like a cheap above ground pool liner especially when microwaved. Probably should remove food from pouch before microwaving or move the microwave out-of-doors! The food is definitely worth the extra effort. *Corrected comments: The food is great. The pouch smells like a cheap above ground pool liner. The food is great!! *Explanation of correction: The microwave cooked it own innards and that was the terrible smell. *Ssummary: Buy some. Great food!

Awesome fast food! Not restaurant quality but hey, folks...
...it comes in a bag! I love Indian food and have enjoyed it in restaurants for a few decades. Some friends turned me on to Tasty Bites several years ago and I have been enjoying their Indian food ever since. This is my favorite of the Tasty Bite offerings. No, it is not restaurant quality. But does anyone expect to find that in a bag that can be conveniently stored in your cupboard? If you are a "foodie" or have the time and skill to prepare your own Indian meals at home, then you can perhaps do better. But given what it is, I am a fan. It's easy to prepare and enjoy, especially with basmati rice... a reasonably healthy and tasty meal for me. I have enjoyed this "fast food" many times on the road when the alternatives were quite brutal. Will continue to buy and enjoy, especially as there are no Indian restaurants in my town.

They changed the recipe on Jaipur Vegetables... and ruined it.
For years, I ate Jaipur Vegetables at least once or twice a week. It was my favorite default meal after a long day. One day I received my regular subscription order and noticed the package had changed but didn't think anything of it until I poured a pouch out over a plate of rice. The once thick and creamy sauce now had a watered-down minestrone-like consistency. The liquid was so thin it ran straight down through the rice. The taste was bland and overwhelmed by tomato juice, and not much else. Comparing the old and new ingredients, they've lowered the protein and fiber content and bumped up "tomatoes" as the main ingredient. As of this review, they still haven't updated the ingredients on the Amazon listing, so know that the ingredients in the ad may not be what you are actually buying. I can't imagine why a company would water down their product and decrease the flavor unless it was to cut costs.

Not a real value but buy for the flavor
The taste is good/convenient. Wish there was more paneer per packet, though. I feel these packets are only a "value" if it helps you visit Indian restaurants less frequently. Otherwise, it's mostly flavoring, with a small amount of vegetables and a few cubes of paneer if I'm being honest. Add canned vegetables plus maybe a piece of naan bread (or white or brown rice) and then yes, you can call that a real main dish. But what's inside the packet can not seriously be considered a meal.
