Why won’t the screen snap into place?

I feel your pain! I gave this product a scathing review when I bought it. From its worthless, Chinese-translated instructions to its ultra-tight, non-obvious installation and hand strap too small for even a child's hand, it's a rip-off. Relying on guesswork alone, it took me an hour to work it into place (and it does fit into place snugly). Mine's installed but if I EVER need to remove it, I'll throw it away before I go through that again. Do us ALL a favor and give it the bad review it deserves. Good protectors have a opening on one side that allow you to slide the iPad straight in. This one doesn't! You have to carefully bend plastic and work it in. Chinese junk.

is the home button covered by the screen protector? or is it cut out?

My iPad already has a screen protector on it. Is it alright not to use the one included?

The one included seals the case so it gives even more protection than screen protector alone. We have a screen protector as welL but still use the one included in addition.
