Cost effective "bulk" purchase
It was very cost effective to buy this pack of 5 rotary blades. I didn't realise my previous blade was blunt until I used 1 of these blades. It cut the material very easily and didn't skip. I hope a titanium blade will last longer than the previous blade which wasn't made of titanium.

I had used cheaper replacement blades previously and found that they tended to skip against the edge of my plastic ruler, and they didn't roll smoothly. No such problems with these titanium blades; they roll very easily and smoothly, and the cut is crisp and sharp. I have no trouble going through 4 thicknesses of quilting cotton, and someone with a stronger arm could probably do even more. Most of the time, 2 thicknesses is what I normally cut, and these blades do a fine job. My rotary cutter is an Olfa ergonomic, so I wasn't sure whether these Fiskars blades would fit, but they do. I will stick to using them from now on. They're a great product!

I had been using a less expensive rotary blade, but there is no comparison to the superior cutting ability of the Fiskars blade. It cuts smoothly, doesn’t “skip” leaving sections of fabric uncut and stays sharp through multiple uses. I sew several garments a month and these blades are well worth the cost for quality of clean edges and time savings.
