These can be used in as little as 4 pieces. I wouldn't try to bend a 180-degree with only 3. A 4-piece section formed a nice hoop on a 2' x 4' raised bed, and a 5-piece section for the 3' x 6' bed. I used 3 or 4 sections for each raised bed. If you have taller plants, you can simply add more pole sections to increase the hoop height. The clips fit tight, but don't open much more than the diameter of the fiberglass pole. You may need alternative clips for securing cloth covers to the edges of a bed, but that is easily done. I will likely purchase more of these. They are easy to put together and seem sturdy.

I love these! This item fit my needs perfectly although some of the reviews made me hesitant. I had no problems with putting them together, getting them to bend easily & so far they have held up my mesh netting very well in an extremely windy area. We get canyon winds nightly & it is difficult to find items that will hold up to the wind but these have done very nicely & the clips that come with the item that you clip the netting too are perfect!( the old school clothespins that are used to hang laundry with work like a gem for this purpose also & I used them to connect my mesh to the 4 sides of my garden box as well. ) Buy this if you are using a mesh covering for your garden, you won't regret it!

The green rods for this kit fit easily into the metal connectors. Almost too easily because I had some fall out while carrying and installing. I have used a similar kit from another brand where the rods fit more snug into the connectors. This makes them stay together much better but makes connecting and disconnecting more difficult. If you need easy connecting and disconnecting then use this kit. If you want them to stay together very well, then use kit from RIFNY brand. The green clips work well but are difficult to install onto the rods because they don’t open up much even when you squeeze them open. They snap to the rods well and hold firm even in high winds. I used these with 1.77 oz freeze cloth and it did not tear when I installed the clips. Thinner materials may get torn. The RIFNY kit has metal clips that are easy to install and remove. The green clips are connected in pairs but you could cut the connection and apply them in more places. That might be useful in some situations. Overall this is a good kit. I would buy again for my particular situation.

Worked great in our raised garden beds. Plenty of pieces for, at least two 2.5'x8' beds. Notice , as described , it does not come with a cover. We used 6 mil clear plastic. We are growing arugula and romaine through the east coast winter. In the past , this produce has survived well into December, without any protection. (NE Pa) One week in, I would say this item is worth the price.

I loved these at first, but the clips break too easily and I have had several of the poles snap. The only thing I've secured to the poles is mesh bug cloth, so there isn't any weight; maybe the wind? I won't buy again.

So - the metal connectors are exactly the same size diameter as the fiberglass pole with the green plastic coating - no way to slide them together. I had to slice the end and take out a wedge of plastic from ALL 60 poles! Only then was I able to HAMMER them together, sometimes it went well, sometimes the rest of the green plastic stripped off and then the pole was too small to snugly fit in the metal connector. It is taking me hours to put these together meticulously slicing each end of each pole (except for the ends that will go in the ground) and then trying to hammer together the poles into the connectors once you hit 3 sections put together trying to hammer onto a long flexible pole is about impossible... and then the microscopic shards of fiberglass that you can't see but feel sticking in your fingers - I would not order this again, but have too much time invested at this point - on the bright side the poles that I do have put together seem sturdy.

Everything I was hoping for. Easy to bend and holds good.

I ordered the 36 piece hoop set to add shade cloth to two raised planter beds during a heat wave. For my 7x4ft bed I made three hoops of six green pieces each, and then had to make 1 smaller hoop using 5 pieces because I had to accommodate a tomato plant growing in my kale, spinach and chard patch. I used the BelleBill 6.5ft by 10ft 40% shade cloth on that section and it worked great! I then made three hoops of six pieces each to cover 3/4 of my 9x4ft bed with general plant netting. It would have worked for the entire planter but I have some nodding onions growing on the end. This was easy to assemble and seems like a nice product.
