As this is an expansion, you do need the base Marvel Legendary game to play it. The heroes it comes with are: Black Panther, Bruce Banner, Captain Marvel, Dr Strange, and the duel hero cards for Scarlett Witch/Vision. I played it solo and just barely lost, which is fine, as a game you always win isn't really a challenge. A big challenge with solo play is that this version of Thanos can win when you run out of villian cards in the villian deck. With solo play, you have way fewer cards in the villian deck than in multi-player. Regardless, lots of thematic fun.
