My dog has done extremely well on this food moreso than the “be natural” salmon flavor from Instinct. Her poops are finally firm and tiny (meaning she’s digesting the nutrients well). That alone makes the higher price per pound worth it. Also her allergies are significantly better and she’s itching a lot less. Wasn’t excited about the peas but it replaces the grains and it seems to be better for her that way anyways. Lots of long lasting energy for an 8 year old GSD too so carbs and blood glucose levels are good. High calorie content is also a huge plus so she gets 1.5 cups twice a day (72lbs and active). Her muscles are nice and defined on it, no weight gain, and her skin and coat look fantastic with no hair loss. Also her ear gunk has cleared up a lot and that’s a first. She’s allergic to nearly everything under the sun and finding a food without various animal fats, eggs, other animal protein, or yeast is a challenge. This fits all of those requirements. She tends to be a vacuum when it comes to food and rarely has issues with eating, this one in particular she really likes and goes crazy for it. I wish it came in large breed so the kibble could be bigger but it’s not that big of a deal. Makes for good treats too. The smell isn’t overbearing like some other brands for salmon and it’s dry so little to worry about as far as mold or pests. I keep it in a dog food container and stays great. A bag lasts us about 4-5 weeks depending if I use some for treats and days we have a lot of activity planned like hiking or bikejoring for a few hours and I’ll feed her some extra in the morning and after. All in all my dog is doing better than I could have expected and the price is well within my budget. Actual allergy friendly foods tend to go for $70-$110 a bag so $60 is REALLY nice. And as always I’m appreciative of the subscription discount and prime shipping. Never had any issues with delivery or payment (unlike chewy).

My very picky little Shih Tzu loves Instinct dog food! Instinct delivers a quality nutritional product and since my sweet little 5.5 pound girl is allergic to everything chicken I feel it is a blessing to have another healthy choice for her!

Our boys are on a limited ingredient diet. They’ve been eating this for years with no issues. We love that it has no dairy, eggs, potato, corn, wheat, soy and is grain free. There are very few alternatives out there this limited. We alternate between all the flavors and wish they would bring back the turkey flavor. The size of the kibble is good for our smaller boys. We give to our bigger boy as training treats. It's a bit pricy but we're happy we found this. Our boys love this and we’ve never had any issues over the years using this. This is a perfect limited ingredient dog food for us.

This is a good quality dog food and my dog loves it and is doing pretty well on it, still having allergies, but I'm not sure what she's allergic to. The LID aspect of this kibble is very good. The ingredients are limited and it is one of the few foods that I can feed my dog with relative confidence that it won't be making her allergies worse. The issues I have with this dog food are that the bag sizes are either too small or too large. The small bag gets used up quickly and is more expensive, but the larger bag is heavy and I've hurt my back handling it. It's also a pain to fit it in the cupboard. And I've noticed the smaller bags have kibble that looks and smells better than the larger bags. The kibble in the large bags seems to smell more cooked/burnt/processed and is slightly darker in color. And the whole reason I switched to this brand was because it was supposed to be less processed and lightly cooked. So, either I get the small expensive bags that have nicer kibble or I get the larger slightly more affordable bags with the more questionable kibble that are too heavy for me. I will be keeping my eyes open for an alternative but until then I will feed this food to my dog since she is doing OK on it, and due to food allergies she is limited to what dog foods I can feed her. So, I am kinda stuck with this food for now.

Worst dog food ever. I don’t know what’s in it. I have 3 dogs. It gave one of my dogs diarrhea. The other 2 refuse to even eat it. Very sketchy.

We have bullies. We have had crazy vet bills, we take the 2 month shots, been on several different- very expensive food. Skin infections, yeast issues, and so on and so on!!! Miserable, itchy, smelly boys. Vet willing to pile as much money on as many visits as possible. We found a food we liked, became unavailable. Found another food that was ok and the ap was very difficult to navigate and not user friendly. Wasn't in love with the results, so I decided to try this stuff after results I read here. This stuff is wonderful and Amazon shipping is dependable. Very please with no itchy smelly bullys and price is par for specialty food. I'm so incredibly pleased with this product. TRY IT FOR SURE. SALMON & PEAS IS FOR US!

Excelente alimento para los perros, mis cachorras lo disfrutan sin problema y los beneficios que proporcionan se notan en su pelaje, dientes, etc.

Mi perrito es alérgico a muchos factores, sobre todo al pollo, así que compré estas croquetas, se las come muy bien y he notado que ha reducido mucho su alergia. Las recomiendo mucho para aquellos perritos, sobre todo si son de piel sensible, o si son alérgicos a granos o proteínas como el pollo. Mi perrito es pequeñito, así que un paquete de estos me dura casi 4 semanas.

La bolsa se ve vieja, a pesar de tener alrededor de un año para la fecha de vencimiento, comp si hubiera sido del montón abandonado; sin embargo no esta rota, y le croqueta se mira y huele en buen estado, deberían cuidar mucho mas el detalle del producto
