Solid key worth the investment to protect important accounts.
They seem good quality and have been a good solution so far. It works well as both a hardware key and security key protected via a pin and physical presence. Ideally if you want to get rid of other authentication methods you. Need two incase you loose one. It's a shame there isn't a discounted 2 pack.

Works Perfectly
Bought a couple of these to secure my iCloud account. It was very simple to set up and works perfectly either by plugging in or using NFC. If you don't need all the added features and just want a hardware key to properly secure your iCloud or Google account etc, these are perfect

Good purchase for account security, great purchase for compatability.
The setup was a bit complicated and difficult to understand. After setup using it is as easy as picking up a USB. It doesn't have any storage. Use of it allows me to log into my millions of accounts securely. It works with all types of USB, except USB C which requires an adaptor. The durability feels tough, dropping it definitely wouldn't break it.

Great little gadget
Great little bit of tech for keeping your accounts safe especially as a backup incase you lose your phone! Used to keep Microsoft and Gmail safe so far. Also connected to my iPhone 13 incase i need to log in from there. You can connect and enable NFC by going into shortcuts and adding new automation where you will find NFC. Very easy to set up.

Limited usefulness
Does what it claims to do perfectly, but the moment it's only usable on a relatively limited number of sites, so I'm not convinced that it offers significant advantages over using a PIN.

MISLEADING – Does NOT work with Yubico Authenticator or TOTP codes despite “NFC” claims
Bought this thinking it was a proper YubiKey with NFC that could store and display 2FA codes (Google, Proton, Microsoft etc.) in the Yubico Authenticator app on my iPhone, exactly like the more expensive YubiKey 5 NFC does. It is NOT. Despite the listing proudly saying “Near-Field Communication (NFC)” and “Multi-factor authentication (MFA) security key”, this black “Security Key NFC” is a FIDO2/U2F-only device. It has zero support for OATH/TOTP (the standard used for time-based 2FA codes). When you tap it on an iPhone or Android phone, the official Yubico Authenticator app either does nothing or throws “no privileges” / “YubiKey does not support OATH”. You cannot add accounts, you cannot see any codes, you cannot use it as a hardware authenticator app replacement. Full stop. Yubico themselves confirm this on their website (only the YubiKey 5 series supports TOTP over NFC), but Amazon’s listing never mentions the limitation. The word “passkey” is buried in the description and most buyers won’t know that means FIDO-only. Result: hundreds of people (check the 1-star reviews and Reddit) buy this £26 key expecting full functionality and end up with a door-stop for anything except FIDO logins. It works fine for passwordless logins on Google, Proton, Microsoft etc. (that part of NFC is good), but if you want a hardware key that replaces Google Authenticator / Authy and lets you tap for codes, this is the wrong product. You need the YubiKey 5 NFC or 5C NFC instead (roughly twice the price for a reason). Extremely misleading advertising from Amazon and poor product differentiation from Yubico. Returning mine. Save yourself the hassle and the return postage – spend the extra £25–30 and get the real YubiKey 5 NFC if you want TOTP support. Hope this review stops someone else wasting their money.

You need two...
You need to buy two of these, from the manufacturer's instructions: Quick start guide Plug in your YubiKey. Log in to the account you want to protect. In the account’s security settings. Choose “security key,” “passkey,” or multi-factor authentication options. Follow the account’s setup instructions. Don’t forget to set up a spare YubiKey.
