This mini projector is so easy to set up it seems daft not to get one for the price. It is compact and lightweight and came neatly packaged in a box small enough to pop on your bookshelf. We connect a mini dvd player via hdmi lead to the projector and watch older dvds. The picture quality is great. The sound is not bad tbh and there is the capability to connect it by bluetooth to an external speaker to enhance this. The fan noise is not quiet, as expected really, but isn't noticeable when you have a movie showing, especially when the projector is connected to an external speaker. This kit also comes with a soft, foldable screen (like a big sheet) that you attach, well anywhere really! We have a tripod projector screen so haven't tried the included one yet. You can always use a plain wall instead of a screen too. This piece of kit can be used in many different ways, in the garden, at a friend's, it's great! Quick and easy to set up, great price, good quality picture and not bad sound. I highly recommend it.

This is a fab little unit, low cost, great value, an a brilliant solution for the children's games room. The overall projector set up is very simple. With great connectivity, so far, I have connected a Switch (HDMI), XBOX (HDMI), a WII (AV), Firestick (HDMI), USB stick (with mepg4 and mp3 files), a portable speaker (AUX) and I have also cast Netflix and YouTube from my mobile phone using the Miracast App and the integrated projector Wi-Fi function. All options have worked superbly. It came with a simple screen, which is more than adequate, however I bought a portable screen solution for the garden, as I wanted something portable and retractable for outdoor use, using the smaller screen to hang up when using indoors. We have already had some great gaming sessions on the Xbox/Switch in the house, and a few movie nights, both indoors and outdoors. This projector will give us many more outdoor film nights in the garden, as the summer approaches. I would highly recommend this product. For the price, and for the fun it will deliver, it is an absolute bargain. It is a must purchase, and its versatility means it is ideal for for spring, summer. autumn and winter! 5 stars.

Firstly, for the price I paid on amazon prime day (just over £50), this projector does everything I would expect of it. The picture isn't advertised as 4k so dont expect that, but it definitely provides a clear, watchable video which can be viewed in low light conditions. Colour adjustment needs to be done in the set up of the projector and whilst the colours are bright, it does lack a little in the red tone which makes some of the reds seem pinkish. That said I love this item and have used it both in the garden and indoors to watch football against a wall in the living room. The projector is supplied with a screen with is slightly elasticated and can be fixed to a wall with the supplied adhesive hooks. One down side is the fan which can appear a little noisy when switched on, although you can pair a Bluetooth speaker to your tablet/phone which can easily distract from the fan noise once you start watching your programme. Side note - when watching in the garden for the first time, I was surprised to see the projection of a huge moth on the screen as one has inconveniently found its way into the projector and was stretched out infront of the projection. There is a cover at the bottom of the projector which allows you to clear any debris from inside the projector if needed and when this was removed and the projector shook slightly, the moth vacated and left us to watch the movie!

I have this projector connected to my laptop and am playing YouTube video of some movie trailers. In the video the projector is probably around 3m from the gloss white wardrobe doors that it is projecting on to. It creates a very big image as you will see. The picture quality is good even at this distance and is crisp with good colours. I will be using this for movies mainly but it could be used for many different things. I have not used the included screen yet but that looks to be good quality. Sound is pretty good from the projector but to get the full effect then connect a Bluetooth speaker up to it with a heavy bass! Easy to set up and simple to use, just connect the leads, point it where you want the image projected and then fine tune by turning the lens. Projector is not too noisy either (fan). Overall really pleased for a good budget projector. Does the job well.

N.B. Three stars as is not the best projector in the world but it is cheap We were so amazed to find a (not quite) pico size projector for under £100 we thought it was worth a go - it is worth noting we ar comparing with our eventual purchase of an Aaxa P7 which was about four times the cost. For the price the picture quality is suprisingly good - though as other reviews here state it would seem worth fiddling round for some time to get a setting that works for you - it is quite bright though and the picture is viewable without the curtains being drawn. However, we decided we wanted to prioritise better resolution over brightness and picture size as we use it in a small darkened room. The main problem for us was the fan noise - with an avrage noise of 37db this was just a bit louder than a full professional Epson EB-X10 XGA projector running at 2,600 lumens (we had read in som blurb that this version had reduced the fan noise which is why we gave it a go) As we wanted the projector for watching films with lots of atmosphere and silence in them in a fairly small room - and as we are lucky enough to be able to afford a more expensive projector - we decided this wasn't the projector for us. However, if you can tolerate lower picture quality and louder fan noise in return for bigger brighter picture at a quite astonishingly cheap price then this might be what you want.
