I know it may be a little bougee for a microwave accessory, but I absolutely love this glass microwave splatter cover. I’ve been trying to avoid heating food in plastic for myself and my family, and this has been such a great swap. It feels so much better knowing we’re not microwaving with plastic lids anymore. The glass is sturdy and high quality, and the tall design is perfect. It actually fits over bigger bowls and plates without squishing the food. It does a great job containing splatters, which means way less microwave cleanup. Plus, it just looks nicer and feels more substantial than the typical plastic covers. I liked it so much I purchased a second one to keep at work!

I've been wanting to get away from using plastic in the microwave, and this glass splatter cover is the perfect solution. It works exactly as described, keeping my microwave completely clean while heating food evenly thanks to the smart vent design. I love that I don't have to worry about chemicals leaching into our food. It's sturdy, easy to see through, and cleans up beautifully in the dishwasher. As others might mention, it does have some weight to it, but that's expected for a quality piece of glass. For me, the heft is a sign of durability and it's a very small trade-off for the peace of mind of not using plastic. The handle is sturdy and makes it easy to lift. Highly recommended!

I like the product because it is made of thick, sturdy glass. It is easy to clean too; however, it's very heavy. Also, the lid holder would have been better if it were made from sturdy, firm silicone. When my 80-year-old mother-in-law visited us, I didn't recommend that she use it because it's too heavy for her.

Arrived on promised delivery date. It was packaged well and arrived in good shape. The food cover is glass and very nice. It is a little heavy and works well in a regular size microwave. It may be a little large for a slim microwae. Very pleased with product.

This is an excellent product but I plan to return it. I'm an older person and the lid is very sturdy, but heavy. I envision dropping it. Sorry I can't keep it

This glass microwave splatter cover works well. It is heavy glass and fits on or over all of my plates. It has been easy to clean--even when tomato sauce bubbled onto it. I thought it a safer alternative to the plastic ones I had been using. It is tall enough to cover taller food items. It looks sturdy and clean. The silicone handle is easier to clean than wood and more sanitary. I worry a bit about the handle coming unscrewed. I tighten it periodically. Overall, this performs well and is as described. It is large enough and heavy enough that it doesn't fall off the plates when I'm heating food. The only thing I'm not totally happy with is the small number of air holes to allow steam or moisture to escape--although maybe it is part of the design to keep foods from drying out. The cover holds the steam, and it gets steamy and hard to see the food items.

Great quality! However it just BARELY covers dishes and if you have a microwave installed in the upper cabinets or above the stove, the weight of the glass is a bit of a nuisance.

I love this! Easy to wash, real glass, and keeps food protected. It's a little heavy, but of couse is better than plastic! It's very strong material, i'm keeping it for the microwave and for covering cakes or other food outside the fridge

This is the BEST purchase that I have made this year! I feel so much safer switching to a glass cover. I’m glad it arrived very well packaged, no damage. The only cons are that you have to screw in the silicone knob. But I’m glad that the screw is ceramic. Also, it’s a bit heavy for me since my microwave is at a higher level. But I’ll get used to it. At last, it is wild to pay $60 for a microwave cover but it’s worth it and hopefully it will last a long time.
