I must admit, I was pretty sus when I ordered this. I'm a wood turner and everybody always tells me, "ALUMILITE CLEAR SLOW" is the ONLY epoxy for turners. Well, I'll never buy ALUMILITE again. At 25% of the cost vs. Alumilute, that might be enough to change brands. But there is no "might be" here, this stuff is incredible. First off, it's easy. 1:1 mix and you're set. Cups included just in case you ran out. It mixes like a champ. Smooth, not too thick and air bubbles float their way out in a minute or two. The long working time is great, especially if you're using more than 1 color. Plenty of time to get everything prepped and make your pour without everything turning into a weird blob. Give it 2 or 3 days to cure. Patience. Don't whine, go do some other junk and come back later. It sets hard, like brick wall hard. I was little worried it was going to be brittle but when I started turning it, I was blown away. I used a bottle stopper mold and poured a 2 x 2 x 2 block. I used a carbide square roughing tool to start and finished with a round carbide. I did not cut the corners before turning. I chucked it, spun it at 2k, and dug in. This stuff turns like butter! It is incredible, not brittle at all, ZERO bubbles, great coloring throughout (used mica powder) and an absolute pleasure to work with. I will never buy another brand again! Can't wait to make more stuff with this!

I bought this epoxy to strengthen the basically hollow transom plate for my troll motor tiller. I also bought this cut fiberglass pieces to strengthen it even more: ihttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B08Q84CS3P?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title. Mixed the hardener and resin really good, then added what I thought would be more than enough of the fiberglass. Well,....it wasn't nearly enough, because all the fiberglass pieces sank to the bottom of the pour. So, if you want to add this fiberglass, you might want to add two to three times MORE than you think is enough. This stuff is so CLEAR, it's like glass; you can see all those fiberglass pieces on the bottom of the pour. Oh well, at least the bottom is going to be REALLY strong!!! And, it takes an hour or more to start setting up, which gives a lot of time to get out the heat gun and get rid of any bubbles (very, very few, if any!). Great stuff!!!

I have been using this resin for over three years and it is by far my favorite epoxy. I have made everything from small crafts, tumbler cups, to tables with this product. It has never yellowed, easy to work with and high gloss and scratch resistant. I have bought over products and end up throwing them away and go straight back to this product.

I purchased these items as a gift and have many times; the person about them for absolutely loves this product.

For several years Used other epoxy for art work I tried this brand because heard was good And yes is better by far. The mixing, clarity, and strength is superior.

This is the only brand of resin I will use. It was recommended to me by a fellow resin artist and I have never used anything else since. It is a thicker resin and low odor (but I always wear a mask regardless.) It comes out crystal clear - no yellowing, no fogginess. Also mixes well with additions like flowers, glitter, stones, mica powder, and liquid pigments. I have used all these with it with great success. It takes longer than some other resins to fully cure and set but it is well worth the wait for the beautiful result. My pieces usually take 48 hours or more to fully cure using a heated curing machine for several hours and then letting them set in a cooler environment after. I mix for AT LEAST 6 full minutes if not longer using a silicone spatula. It does not cure fast so you have plenty of time to work on your projects. Everyone who sees my resin products always asks me what brand I use because the finish looks just like glass!
