This Is A Snazzy, Great Controller
So I was looking for a nice Switch controller for my wife that went along with not only the Switch but multiple other systems as well. She is a huge Zelda player (she's hooked right now on Echoes of Wisdom). This thing has some good features and the nice thing is all the buttons are pretty much equal in pressure which is amazing when it comes to controllers. All the face buttons have similar tension levels and are nice soft membrane buttons. The triggers are not analog so that means they are either on or off there is no level of play with it that you might need for traditional racing games (like Forza or Gran Turismo) but there is very low chance of you playing that with this controller. Also this has ALPS potentiometers not Hall Effect sticks but again, for this price point the likelihood of you getting HE sticks is low. And the sticks on this had <0.1% error rate in all four of the tests I ran. The two buttons on the back are great honestly and pretty easy to hit. The Macro function works pretty well and without any external software. So everything else feels nice. It's somewhere between the Switch Pro and XBOX Series controller size which is perfect. It's not too big and it's not too small. I will say if you have extraordinary small hands this might be too big and the Switch Pro controller (or JoyCons) might be a better pick. But for the use case we are looking for, this controller is about perfect. Tried pairing this up with the Switch, MBP, iPhone, Steam Deck and Android phone and all worked flawlessly. Changing the input modes is pretty straightforward and intuitive. So as far as pressure testing of the buttons goes, here is what I got: A - 3.1N B - 2.9N X - 3.0N Y - 3.1N Start - 3.7N Select - 3.5N L1 - 2.8N L2 - 5.4N L3 - 5.0N R1 - 2.7N R2 - 5.5N R3 - 4.9N Back Button 1 - 4.0N Back Button 2 - 4.1N Closing out, this is a really good value controller and has a neat gimmick of the hidden light up colors. I would recommend this and if nothing else you should pick it up for your controller collection like I have. Love having a random choice of controllers to use whenever I want them (or whenever I can steal my good ones back from my wife!). Highly recommended.

Nice controller, so far!
Just got it today as a replacement for another third party Switch pro controller. I used my old one for both my switch and my PC, and was drawn to the fact that this one has multiple device compatibility too. So far, there seems to be no lag, the control sensitivity is good, and there's obviously no drift starting out. The NFC (Amiibo) support works as you'd expect. Feels sturdy, and came with an extra D-Pad key in case you like the 4 corners rather than circular buttons. (I changed to the four corners.) One thing I was surprised to see is that the lights that show the design are multi-colored, you can change them from just the teal in the listed photos! Green, orange, teal blue, pink, yellow, red, and purple. AND you can turn them off if you want to, and it looks like a black controller. Pretty major bonus for me, in the case I don't want distractions from my controller!

Functions Surprisingly Well
Not a bad controller at all. It connects to the switch 2 just fine. I find the plastic to be a little cheap however. The included cable is also not of great quality, but it gets the job done. The lighting effects are very cool and are a great touch, especially with this being on the cheaper end. The gyro controls work surprisingly well. I was able to play Breath of the Wild without any problems with the controller. I haven't gotten any stick drift so far and I've owned it for a few months. I have only played Mario Kart online, so I can't talk too much about the wireless delay, but I don't feel any as an average user. I would definitely recommend this controller at this price point. If it were a bit higher quality material, I would have given it a 5-star.

Section 1: Packaging The FUNLAB Firefly Pro wireless controller is packaged with an impressive attention to detail. Its outer box, matte black and sleek, immediately draws attention with a high-resolution image of the controller on the front. The design is clean and sophisticated, adorned with the subtle yet confident FUNLAB logo in the upper-left corner. This isn’t just a box; it’s an introduction to the premium product inside, setting expectations high for what lies within. Upon opening the outer box, a secondary layer of packaging awaits, an additional measure to ensure the controller arrives in pristine condition. This second box provides another level of protection, which is evident when you remove the controller nestled within a secure styrofoam sleeve. The styrofoam sleeve is a valuable touch; it both cushions the controller and demonstrates a level of care for the customer experience that isn’t always common in consumer electronics packaging. The two joysticks rest comfortably in a circular ring cushion, carefully positioned to prevent any accidental damage during shipping. This thoughtful design underscores FUNLAB's commitment to quality and user satisfaction, recognizing that first impressions are crucial. Inside the package, several accessories accompany the controller, each item thoughtfully selected to enhance the gaming experience. Alongside the controller, you’ll find a high-quality USB-C charging cable, designed for durability and convenience. An alternative d-pad is also included—a thoughtful feature that allows users to switch out the default d-pad for one more reminiscent of the official Nintendo Switch Pro controller. This flexibility provides gamers the option to tailor the feel of the controller to their preference, a small but impactful addition that many will appreciate. A multilingual instruction booklet rounds out the contents, providing clear, accessible instructions for users worldwide. Section 2: Set Up Setting up the FUNLAB Firefly Pro controller is remarkably straightforward, even for those new to wireless gaming accessories. The initial setup only requires the USB-C charging cable that’s included, which can be connected to a Nintendo Switch or other compatible device. As you begin, the instructions in the booklet are clear and easy to follow. FUNLAB has made pairing the controller with various devices almost effortless, so users can connect seamlessly to Android, iOS, Steam Deck, and PC systems. Each step is laid out concisely, minimizing the setup time and making it accessible even to those who might not be particularly tech-savvy. Once connected, a flashing blue light serves as a reassuring indicator that the controller is charging. This visual feedback adds an element of convenience, eliminating any guesswork and ensuring you’re informed of the controller’s charging status. The streamlined setup process stands out as a key advantage of the Firefly Pro, emphasizing FUNLAB's commitment to providing a hassle-free user experience right from the beginning. Section 3: Quality & Control The aesthetic design of the FUNLAB Firefly Pro controller is a standout feature. Its striking LED lighting system instantly catches the eye, adding a modern flair that elevates the controller’s visual appeal. There’s a dedicated button on the back of the controller to activate the lighting. With a simple press, the LEDs come to life, creating a vibrant glow that can transition seamlessly into an “always-on” mode. This sophisticated touch brings the controller to a new level of customization, allowing players to tailor the look of the controller to their personal style. The design goes beyond mere aesthetics; it also reveals thoughtful craftsmanship in every detail. The LED lighting, for instance, has seven color options, each easily selectable with a press of the light button, allowing users to pick a color that matches their mood or gaming environment. The flexibility to choose from multiple colors is both fun and practical, especially for players who enjoy gaming in a dim or dark room, where the vibrant lights become particularly striking. Moreover, the controller’s design is playful. When illuminated, the circular patterns on the white plastic casing is vividly clear. The edges of each icon are crisp, showcasing the controller’s quality in even the smallest design elements. This level of detail is rare and speaks to FUNLAB's dedication to producing a top-notch product. Beyond aesthetics, the controller also delivers a premium tactile experience. The backside of the controller has a subtle textured surface that enhances grip, an essential feature for long gaming sessions. The balance of the controller’s weight feels just right—substantial enough to give it a quality feel without being overly heavy. This balance makes it comparable to the official Nintendo Switch Pro controller in terms of comfort and usability, ensuring that players can enjoy extended play without fatigue. The button feedback on the Firefly Pro is another strong point. Each button has a satisfying tactile response, offering a familiar, comfortable feel similar to the official Nintendo controller. The trigger buttons, in particular, are responsive and well-designed, contributing to an enjoyable and immersive gameplay experience. Whether you’re playing a high-intensity action game or a relaxing platformer, the buttons and controls maintain consistent performance, highlighting the controller’s reliability. Section 4: Functions The Firefly Pro controller isn’t just about looks and comfort—it also offers an array of features designed to elevate the gaming experience. The customizable lighting modes are a highlight, giving players options to suit different atmospheres and preferences. The modes include a “breathing” mode, which creates a pulsing effect, a lively “flashing” option for a dynamic visual experience, and a mode that syncs the lights to controller vibrations. This sync mode is especially immersive, as the lights respond in tandem with the game’s action, adding a layer of sensory engagement that enhances the gaming experience. For gamers who prefer a quieter experience, the controller also includes a dedicated button to toggle vibration on and off. This level of customization makes the controller adaptable to different gaming situations and individual preferences. Whether you want a fully immersive experience or prefer less sensory feedback, the options are at your fingertips. On the back of the controller, five additional buttons provide extended functionality. One button activates the turbo function, a useful feature for games requiring rapid button presses. The remaining four buttons are programmable macro buttons, offering the chance to set custom functions for specific gameplay needs. While I haven’t had the opportunity to delve deeply into these functions yet, the added customization options are valuable for those looking to optimize their gaming experience. Section 5: Overall The FUNLAB Firefly Pro wireless controller has been an excellent addition to my gaming setup. Priced at just 60% of the cost of an official Nintendo Switch Pro controller, it offers impressive value for its quality and features. The combination of stylish design, solid craftsmanship, and responsive controls makes it an appealing choice for both casual and serious gamers. The additional features, like turbo and macro functions, add further utility, making it a well-rounded gaming accessory. One of the standout aspects of this controller is undoubtedly the LED lighting. The vivid lights add a playful, yet polished touch, enhancing the controller’s appeal, particularly for streamers or gamers who enjoy a visually engaging experience. For streamers, this lighting feature could be a fantastic way to draw attention, as the lights add a captivating dimension that enhances the visual appeal during broadcasts. Overall, FUNLAB has crafted a quality product that’s sure to appeal to a broad audience. I’m excited to see what other products FUNLAB might release in the future. I look forward to more iconic designs from them. The Firefly Pro is a remarkable controller that offers both style and substance—an excellent investment for any gamer.

The FIREFLY Wireless Switch Controller - Zonai has a solid build quality, and a comfortable tactile grip. The buttons are highly responsive, satisfying tactile feedback. The analog sticks are smooth and offer precise movement, allowing for precise aiming and control in games. One of the standout features is the seven LED Colors with five lighting modes. The lights are very bright, and it's easy to change color and mode, and in dark mode the pattern is almost completely invisible. The vibration function is very good, and you can also change the intensity level, which is a nice feature to have. The twelve hours of battery life is more than you will ever need in a single play session. It is nice they include an extra D-pad button, so you can change to your preference. You can connect it to multiple different devices. Works with Nintendo Switch, Android and PC. I mainly use it on my PC and it was plug play, very easy to set up. Overall, it is a very nice controller.

Cool design, Thumb sticks are bigger than a normal switch joycon (i dont have a switch pro or any other controller to compare to) and 'cave in(?)' so if you wanted to buy thumb grips like I did watch out for the size. I previously had a lower review due to it becoming unresponsive for a second every now and then mid matches. But after having played more I didnt run into the issue any further. Not sure what was up with that (When I did run into the issues it was wired and the rest of my play time It was unwired maybe that was it?)

The controller is really responsive, I was able to sync it up quickly with my switch via usb, just like a pro controller. To be thorough, I decided to also verify syncing via Bluetooth, on both of the switch and the steam deck. The steam deck was trickier, but after reading through the manual it took only a single try. Overall I found there to be straightforward and clear instructions for connectivity and use of the various buttons. I've bought third party controllers many times before, and there's clearly been more thought put into this than average. It's a really comfortable controller to use, that fits well in my hands and is a great weight for a controller with vibration features. It's sometimes easy to forget you're holding it! The backlights have various colours you can cycle through, including completely off (pictured), which I appreciate. Having said that, I really like the backlight design, and it was a hit with my kid too, we're not likely to be turning it off anytime soon. There are no signs of drift, and both systems seemed to recognize all the standard buttons. I ran through the calibration and button testing on the switch and everything looked great. I'm looking forward to not having to swap my other controllers between platforms, I'll probably pick up more of these and choose one device to stay paired with.
