Great little speaker!
Small and lightweight but great sound quality! Easy to connect. Battery life seems to last!

I LOVE THIS LITTLE SPEAKER!
Okay so I'll start out with my one (only 1!) complaint. The charger cord that came with the speaker is this weird little flat USB dongle that doesn't fit into any normal USB ports (see other reviews that mention this). Easy fix though because the port on the speaker itself is a USB-C input and I have a million USB-C cords. So no worries there. Now for all the GOOD STUFF. Size: small but MIGHTY. The speaker doesn't feel like it's flimsy or easily breakable. It's hefty but not *too* hefty. It clips right onto my bag and is so nice and portable. Sound: again, this thing is small but mighty. The sound quality is great. The bass levels are just right, and it seems to handle the highs and lows just as well as any other portable speaker out there. I like that it has speakers on both the front and the back, so the sound gets distributed really well. Price: for $10 cheaper than its biggest competitor (not naming any name brands here), this thing was a home-run for me. Plus I'm a sucker for anything Skullcandy! Waterproof: As with any electronic device that claims it's waterproof, I'm not going to risk testing that until an unavoidable accident occurs. If such an event does happen, I'll come back and update this review with the results. It's gotten splashed a little bit while I've been out kayaking, but nothing to truly "test the waters" (see what I did there?) And saving the best for last, BATTERY: I don't know how this thing hasn't died yet, but I've been using it almost every day since I got it (about a week and a half ago), and each time I've used it has been for about 4-5+ hours per use—probably about 30ish hours total— I just checked the battery life and it's still at 90%. Insane! If you're on the fence about purchasing, just do it!!

Great little speaker
Quite a decent speaker, especially for the price. Sound comes from both sides, highs from top & lows from bottom (if speaker is set skull side up on surface.) If hung from loop, sound is really very good, decently loud and not distorted. Thinking about ordering a second speaker so they can be paired, as I'm thinking two will probably sound great.

Good speaker for the value!
Built ok not most premium product. Not terrible for the value either. The bass isn't too crazy. Good indoor speaker not really loud enough for much outdoors. Connects well and decent battery.

Better than it’s more expensive competitors!
This speaker is pretty good! I own other small bluetooth speakers like JBL Clip5, UE Miniroll, Soundcore GO3, and Bose Soundlink Mini. I can say that the Skullcandy Kilo out performs the Bose Soundlink Mini hands down, and comes close to the sound quality JBL Clip5 for nearly half the price. However the UE Miniroll does sound a lot better than all of these speakers, but is on the pricier side. The overall quality on the Skullcandy Kilo is pretty great given the lower price tag compared to its competitors, sacrificing little sound difference. It has a pretty rugged design built for everyday use and it also has a very bright sound signature that can get very loud when you crank it up. The size is pocketable and can be clipped pretty much anywhere. It is very easy to use right out of the box with straight forward controls and the over all feel seems like it can take a beating no problem! Lastly, the battery life is the best in the game out performing all of its competitors with 24 hours of battery life. I haven’t had to charge it in the past 2 weeks of using it daily at very high volume for long periods of time! Overall, this speaker is 100% worth the price, you wont find a better deal to quality ratio out. I personally think Skullcandy’s Speakers are super underrated and deserve more attention because sound quality and build quality wise, they do compete with the big boys like UE, JBL, Sony, Bose, and Soundcore. Definitely grab one and see for yourself.

FINALLY! A Speaker that ACTUALLY Plays Almost 24 Hrs!
Amazing Product! Fantastic clear, Sound and Quality made! Pairs easily and Battery lasts ACTUALLY LASTS ALMOST 24 hrs on almost max volume!!! No loud sounds coming on or shutting off! Half the size of my old batteries that only last 4 hrs and woke me up with a loud, jarring, Alarm sound. I was lucky enough to catch my favorite color, gray, for HALF price!!! I'm SO GRATEFUL for the Massive Discounts I have been finding on things I NEED! Being on below poverty income and housebound I rely on Amazon to delivery everything. I'm able to find even name brand items and prices that beat or compare to Walmart. Thank God from others great reviews I just know I won't be having to return it in a few weeks like the last so called long playing speaker! That last one didn't last but 6 hrs and said 12+ hrs and the buttons suddenly stopped working. Bought 1 and gifted a second by surprise to alternate every 24 hrs. or use together for even more precise sound. I am so happy with my purchase! I am very chronically ill and rely on long playing videos of natural water sounds and healing frequencies (white noise) to drown out outside traffic and noise.

Terrific sound - awesome Prime Day price
I love/own several JBL Flip 4 and 5 bluetooth speakers. I have tried others but the JBLs are the best price/performance value (UE Boom comes close). I wanted to try a model that enabled pairing for truly separate, stereo sound. The smaller cube UE Booms and the Sonos are among several brands that can do that.... so I caved and got these on impulse when they were 40% off for Prime Day. Individual BT pairing with your iPhone is a cinch. But stereo pairing was a little bit finicky. However, once you completed it they pair in stereo every time. I set them up in my office along the back wall about 10 feet apart, facing towards my desk and what a difference stereo sound produces spatially! I like that these produce crisp mids and highs as most of my music (in office) is mellower - from classical to jazz to coffeeshop vocals. They do great with rock and blues as well. I dislike the (all-too-frequent) muddied sound of bass-heavy speakers and these are not like that. And they sound terrific, even at higher volumes. The one dislike (and it's a biggie - almost warranting a reduction in stars) is how incredibly loud the "power on" sound is when you first turn them on AND when they pair in stereo. People 3-4 doors down the hall can hear them and there is Nothing you can do to mute that. I don't know why BT speakers insist on doing that loud "launch" tone every single time (JBL is just as guilty though slightly quieter, still way too loud). Note: these use the newer USB-C cables (same as newer iPads and other devices). Each comes with a cable but no power "cube" to plug into an outlet. Fortunately most of us have plenty of cubes by now.
