I really love this pen! Write very well. But the metal grip broke, im sure i stretch it to much, so be carful regarding this. i use many parker and it is a good quality product.

Excellent writing pen, and feels good in my hand. I’ve owned Mont Blancs that didn’t feel as good in my hand, and didn’t write as good. The click is much better than twist; Twist pens tend to twist the opposite direction when writing, and you have to constantly twist it back open. And the ones with removable tops, while you can place the top on the opposite end, tend to come loose while writing. I do recommend using only genuine Parker refills.

The Parker IM Monochrome Ballpoint Pen (Blue Finish and Trim) is certainly a handsome and stylish pen. It stood out to me when I first saw it here on Amazon, and now that i have it in from of me it looks fantastic. Except for the metal trim is has a subdued sheen to it - not matte, but not glossy either. The clicking is very solid, the pen feels comfortable in my hand, and the included 1.0mm ink writes a decent line. (Note that I have now replaced the original ink with a Schmidt Easyflow 9000 cartridge.) But ... for a pen that costs twice as much as the legendary Parker Jotter, the build quality doesn't wow me. The pen is not lightweight (26 grams with ink), but some of the internal parts (in particular where the pen screws together) appear to be made of plastic. I've bought a high quality Pentel Alloy all-metal pen for much less, so I'm disappointed to see plastic used here in a place that may wear out and fail over time. Overall recommended, but I wish the construction was a bit better.
