This pillow is amazing!! I’m female 5’6” I prefer the 6 inch height because I have severe neck pain and this pillow has helped with this. If I didn’t have the neck issue I would probably selected the 5” inch height. Anyone with serious neck issues understands the need for height, support and softness. I feel this pillow offers all of this. I bought the 5 inch height, different brand but they seem exactly the same. Both dual foam soft on one side and form on the other. The 5 inch height was nice but I feel I need to be a little higher due to my neck issues. My husband seems to like the 5 inch height a lot. Most people will be 5 inch height. Small, petite people may desire a 4 inch height and those taller, larger people or those with serious neck issues may like the 6 inch height best. I was using a queen size symphony pillow from Tempupedic but now they only have the standard size available and that is a lower loft, less dense pillow. I tried the Cloud King but the single density seems nice but sinks too flat for me even though that particular pillow is a high loft, my neck was hurting after trying it for the night. The double style, with different density foams is genius and makes these pillows work and feels very comfortable. Also I paid $120 for the second Symphony pillow a few years ago, and this is a lot cheaper. Tempurpedic should have come out with the same idea of dual density to keep their market. So I am hooked on this pillow very comfortable and sleeping better than I have been. Perfect solution for neck pain or side sleepers. I do feel it can still work for back sleepers too. I was using it while on my back while reading and it still seemed pretty comfortable. Nice pillow!!

I love this pillow. Helped get rid of my neck/shoulder issues and stay aligned during my sleep tremendously. The only thing that would improve it is having a shoulder cutout. I'm a 100% side sleeper and have been through so many pillows and this is the only one that has stuck. Love the soft/firm sides I can choose between, and I think it's great quality. I only use the cover that comes with it because it really does stay cool, and it's easy to remove and wash and put back on. The size is perfect for me. Truly a 5 star purchase

I have the ORIGINAL Pillow Cube, the rectangle cooling one and this is a great dupe but it is MUCH FIRMER. Thank god for the soft side, because this is very firm even with that. The original pillowcube I have had for over a year and at first when I unboxed it I got scared because it felt too soft. However, the foam on the original is very advanced and it sinks in just right before forming up in the center. It’s like your head is floating on a cloud and gives amazing shoulder and neck support and actually is amazing even for a back sleeper. This dupe doesnt do that but it DOES give great neck and shoulder support, it’s just very hard and yet I wake up with no shoulder or neck pain, therefore I am only taking off one star because it is still a fantastic dupe for the price. If it could be somewhat softer, it would be perfect. This is too hard for me to use it while sleeping on my back unlike the original pillowcube. I am a 5’2” woman and my original pillowcube is the medium height which is perfect, but sometimes I wish I had a larger one. So for this I thought I maybe wanted to size up. If this was a normal pillowcube, I could have, but this is simply too firm for the biggest size for my height. However that’s on me, and has nothing to do with me taking off one star. I would buy this again in the medium height and give the bigger one away. The pillow case is cooling but VERY difficult to remove and put on, so I just use a normal one.

I bought this after 3 days of neck pain. I purchased another set of very nice pillows, but for some reason my neck was in a terrible state for days and I knew it was my pillows. I was also waking up about once an hour to flip sides. I got this as it had sat on my wish list for over a year. I decided to pull the trigger, and I’m glad I did! I have heard of the Pillow Cube, and I’d say even not having tried the original, this is pretty phenomenal and I’d guess it’s very much like the original but I’m absolutely guessing. It’s really well made! The soft side is my favorite. I got the extra thick pillow. I have broad shoulders and larger arms for a woman - something I detest but it is what it is. I decided on the thicker thickness and it is perfect for me - a 5’2” woman. I don’t quite know how to describe how comfortable this is to lay your head on. It just “works”. I love how it aligns my head in just the right position so it’s releasing strain and I can rest. I had ZERO neck pain after one night of this pillow. I sleep hot as well - and I love how cool this pillow is. It’s like magic. My husband watched me go through pillow after pillow - he asked me after a few nights “so I guess this one’s a keeper?” - absolutely! I’m considering getting him one as I’m not sharing. I would travel with this thing. I consider my life permanently changed. I will add… it’s kind of ugly. Unless you get 2 your bed will look kinda ugly or you have to hide it. With 2 it probably looks modern. With one it looks odd. But who really cares??!

This was okay. I like the softer side of the pillow, but my shoulder isn't long enough to fix the pillow perfectly. It may just be a matter of needing to wear it down some more though.

I used the pillows last night for the first time, I received them yesterday. I followed the installation on letting them air out, regain their shape from being rolled up in a box. They definitely aren't your pillows you are used to. However once you give them and you a few minutes to adjust to each other you'll find that they are truly a good investment for your sleep and body comfort. You won't find yourself fighting them to find a sweet spot, you won't feel the all to familiar shoulder pressure point ache, neck ache. Your head will be fully and comfortably supported at a straight level with your spine. They are two sided, one side is Firm meaning no give just a comfortable but solid surface, the other side is Soft meaning it has a little give in it if you prefer that. I got a fairly solid night sleep on my first night. I can't wait to see how much better my sleep will be, and my body will feel after continuous nights of good solid sleep. Pillows have been an issue for me for years, literally, I've tried dozens over the last couple of years. Hopefully these are the ones.

Bought it about a month ago... I noticed an immediate improvement in my sleep. The pillow has 2 sides - the soft side felt better for me. I noticed an immediate reduction in the neck/shoulder pain that I have been dealing with for several years. It's not as cool as the item description stated but I can deal with a warm pillow if it reduces the neck pain that I was getting from my old pillow.

I got this pillow as an alternative to the expensive Pillow Cube, and while is offers good results at a fraction of the price, I was a little disappointed. The Pros: My whole life I've been a side sleeper and used affordable pillows. I would sleep with 3-4 pillows to achieve the height I wanted, but even then I would struggle to get comfortable, toss and turn, and wake up with neck/shoulder/upper back pain. I finally decided to look into foam pillows, as they were recommended for side sleepers and the technology just made sense. I originally wanted a Pillow Cube, but the nearly $160 price tag turned me away. This was a compromise to see if I would even like it, and while it's not perfect, I no longer struggle to "get comfortable" and it seems like I wake up a lot less in the middle of the night from tossing and turning. It's not a miracle cure, but it's a definite improvement and one I wished I got sooner. This pillow also offers a soft and firm side, which I suppose might be a nice feature to help you really fine tune your sleeping experience. I haven't noticed much of a difference on either side, but you might! The Cons: As they say, you get what you pay for, and my experience with this pillow, which seems to be a $30 dupe of the $140 Ice Cube Deluxe from pillowcube, seems to support that. I got this to see if a foam pillow would work for me, but it sure isn't perfect. Based on my experiences with this pillow, I have a feeling that the real deal would've been a better choice, but I couldn't bring myself to blow that money on a pillow... As a start, I used a stack of books to measure the space between my neck and shoulder to determine the ideal pillow depth for me. For me, the ideal height was a little under 4", so that is what I ordered. Unfortunately the foam that fills this pillow is not dense enough and deflates once your head is on it, so my 4" pillow becomes more like a 3" pillow, which is frustrating. I've improved the situation by adding a thin pillow beneath this one to boost the height, but that shouldn't be needed. The 4" pillow should provide 4" of support. I got this specific foam pillow because of the cooling properties, since I'm a hot sleeper. Unfortunately, this pillow does not seem to have any cooling properties and maintains a similar temperature to the other pillows/sheets in the bed throughout the night. Maybe that's how all "cooling" pillows feel, but I expected it to feel a little cool when I first got into bed, and to actively stay cool/draw body heat in and away from me, but I really don't think it does any of that. As a final gripe, because of its square shape and rigidity, this pillow is constantly slipping out of standard pillowcases even though I no longer toss and turn like I used to. It's not a dealbreaker, but it drives me nuts so I'll need to buy a zippered case to make it stay put.
