How the Fourier Transform Works

Finally, an understandable explanation of the Fourier transform and the Fast Fourier transform (FFT). The FFT is used by many everyday electronic devices. Now I know how it works. Kudos to Mark Newman for making a complex topic understandable!

I am a fresh electronics engineer graduate and decided to purchase this book after starting to work as an engineer and realising just how important the Fourier transform is. The reason I chose this book is because I stumbled upon marks youtube videos which I really enjoyed and helped me a lot. This book and his other have really taken my understanding of the Fourier transform to a new level. Through my university studies I often felt like I didn't fully grasp the concept or know how to use it. After going through Marks books this is no longer true. I feel incredibly lucky to have found this book and Marks youtube channel. Thank you Mark!

This book is probably the best book on signals and systems I've ever read. I'm a student and after reading it, in just 3 days of receiving the book, I went from knowing absolutely nothing about the FFT to knowing enough to write my own program to manually calculate an FFT of any size!

This is a great book for those who want a deeper understanding of the fundamentals of FT. It makes learning FT fun and easy to do.
