No. Will it get their attention? Yes. Well, except for that one kid that just stands in the middle of the field and looks at the sky. There is no whistle that will help him. Maybe a more expensive, heavy duty whistle. And if you doubt that a more expensive whistle will help get his attention, just buy these.

Not the best. Feels easy to fold and break. This also gets my beard stuck to it when removing from my mouth. I'm still trying to figure that one out.

I bought the whistles to train my dog. They are not top quality but serve well for the purpose I bought it for. My dog responds nicely every time with just a short whistle. Good price.
