This switch is great for home use , plug and play , good quality made , working as should be , no noise made . Wery good device if you need more data points , very good price for quality

This is a good sturdy little switch with low power consumption, helpful indicators, full metal case and compact PSU. It comes with stick-on rubber feet, or you can wall-mount it with the supplied screws. I opted to use a few strips of magnetic tape instead, and plant it on top of my server. The link and speed indicators are on the ports themselves, which is usually the most practical solution. D-Link boast that it can detect cable lengths and idle ports, and adjust the power consumption accordingly. They must be doing something right, since they can power eight ports with only 5V and 1A, according to the PSU rating. At those levels, it should have been possible to provide the option to power it from USB, but the lack of that is the only shortcoming I've found. I paid £19.99 with free carriage, and I'm very satisfied.

What can I say, It does what it says. Though I cannot verify as to how good it is, as I am not too savvy in this sort of thing. I wanted something that I could connect my , TV, Bluray Recorder, Sky Box to my network and this fits the bill as I didn't want a bunch of wires. One Cat5e or Cat6 Cable is all that is required to connect it to the router. Note - This is not a wireless Switch. All you do is connect one of the ports to your router and the rest to your equipment This was delivered quickly too.

Perfect for setting up your home wired network from Tv's to Pc's and Xbox consoles , no more flaky wifi for us. Flawless and effortless installation , especially good for the Consoles as their connection is now super stable with no lag making the kids gaming much more fun , Tv streaming is also MUCH better. I bought this based on other positive Amazon reviews, the purpose being to make more sense of the cabling in my lounge. I currently have my Billion BiPAC 7800DXL router connected to: Billion BiPAC 7800DXL Triple WAN Dual Band Wireless N Gigabit ADSL2+/Fibre 3G/4G LTE Broadband Router with USB Port Smart TV XBOX Steam Link Powerline Extender As a result all the ports on the router were used so no room for expansion and at times i noticed the transfer speeds to become a little sluggish especially with all the other wifi devices that were connected to it. So as it was on offer during the Black Friday sales i took a chance. It arrived next day via Prime delivery. I purchased the metal version which feels incredibly sturdy, it can be wall mounted if you wish. Set up is as simple as plugging one cable from the router to the switch and then everything else to the switch directly. Plug in the standard wall wart PSU that comes with it and let it do the rest. The cables i used are: CSL - 5 x 0.5m CAT.6 Flat Ethernet Gigabit Lan Network Cable (RJ45) | 10/100/1000Mbit/s | Patch cable / broadband cable | compatible with CAT.5 / CAT.5e / CAT.7 | black Since installation i have overall noticed a much smoother connection on all devices, so happy with the upgrade. I am no expert in terms of networking but for my purpose it suits me perfectly.

This product works very well. It is very simple to set up. Plug in the power lead, connect an ethernet cable from your network to any of the ports and then plug in ethernet cables from the various devices that you want to access the network into the spare ports. That's it. It doesn't need any set up beyond that and it just works. It has been running now for a few days without any issues. Its metal construction is also most welcome in this age of flimsy plastic products.

l'alimentatore in dotazione con lo switch ha la spina elettrica inglese. Serve un adattatore UK IT...di non immediata reperibilita'. Probabilmente tutti hanno in casa l'adattatore inverso da spina IT a UK. Per il resto un buon prodotto che fa il suo...tanto che non lo ho rispedito (come proposto da Amazon) a loro spese per cambiarlo con un altro oggetto.

Le switch est parafit, si ce n'est que lors de la livraison j'ai constaté que la prise n'était pas adaptée à la France. Le produit semble venir d'Angleterre et il faut alors prévoir d'acheter un adaptateur supplémentaire.
