Well made & lovely details.
I love this kit, just the right amount of putting bits together to make it an enjoyable pastime. This is my first and cannot wait to make Elsa's tailoring. I used a tacky glue and also the glue that came in the kit. The paper sheets, wallpaper, signs etc are all pre-cut. For some parts I used the sandpaper to make it fit in the slots, only a mm out on a couple. There are you tube videos which were a great help, but I found the instructions were good. A craft knife is useful for removing notches from the boards to make sure the parts don't break. A very detailed and lovely looking kit which I really enjoyed making.

Great Diorama
Git this as a gift from my husband, absolutely loved it, spend a few hours tweaking, very fun to make and kill some time if you enjoy puzzles and dioramas. Maybe a little bit expensive but definitely worth it as it has many little details and items. The quality of the items is also good. The only thing I didn't like is that the paper cuttings are not stickers, but you have to glue them yourself, I think it would have been easier if they were stickers but that is just a small con. It was interesting to make the light on your own, you have all the materials needed. I found the introductions easy to follow. I would also like to mention the box that it came in was really nice too. Note that it came without any outer package so if you are buying it for a gift have that in mind. Overall very fun and looks amazing once built. I would love to try other similar ones.

Looks beautiful but many problems…
I’ve made nearly 20 book books now, so I don’t really consider myself a novice; although it’s always a learning process… This project was infuriating in parts! Some of the pieces were extremely delicate and very flimsy, and I spent a lot of time glueing broken or very weak pieces, the chair was so difficult to slot together and both legs splintered and then the back, so it was repaired with glue. Some of the thicker pieces (counter tops and units) were either too loose or too tight. So, a lot of filing and glueing… This is the first kit I’ve ever had where you have to wire the light from scratch. You have to trim the circuit panel, wire it, (trimming the wiring…) and use the heat tubing to seal the wires. I’d actually got a spare light unit with the bulb (assembled) so I used that and it’s perfect. The decor (flooring and wallpaper and outside brick work) is on a sheet which needs to be glued. The black board which had some of the pieces on stained my fingers and my work mat. I ended up using a high tack glue and then Gorilla glue on a lot of pieces. (Gorilla glue is brilliant but be careful as you don’t get a lot of wriggle room, so precision is key) A good high tack glue is perfect for the pieces and decor that need to be glued (walls and floors etc) I used glue dots and adhesive strips to secure the coffee jars, kitchen items and then a dot of Gorilla glue to secure the table, chair and bar stools. Quality is not brilliant on the main frame, it’s really loose; so again, a lot of glueing! I improvised a lot as I have a good stock of spare parts, including glue dots and adhesive strips. Some of the instructions say were a bit vague and confusing but I worked it out. My husband actually helped me on some parts as I was getting rather frustrated, however, now it’s completed we’re both really proud of it. It does look amazing but do beware there may be a lot of glueing, filing (and a few choice words…)

Very relaxing and therapeutic.
Arrived well packaged and everything intact. I haven't started this one yet but have previously made the flower house which was so relaxing to do. The instructions are very easy to follow with these kits and the result is amazing. People always find it interesting when they visit and can't believe the detail for such a miniature piece. Very enjoyable to make. Invest in some small needle nose pliers and tiny clips for holding things together after being glued.

Love it
A little fiddly, but came with tweezers which helped. Maximised the glue to stick everything together as lots of little bits which could easily fall off and get lost. Very pleased with the end finish. Really enjoyed making this, have done the shakespeare library too.

Rolife Doll House Kit
Really enjoyed making this. Easy to put together. The glue could be bit fiddly at times with the long nozel as it would sometimes fall off.. This was my first project and I didn’t find it difficult. Wiring the light was tiny bit tricky but managed it ok and it does look great lit up. The bag used to wrap the bread in was too thick, so I used a slow cooker liner and tied the bags with cotton. Also there was nothing to go in the coffee and jam jars, so I filled them with tiny red beads for the jam and brown material for the coffee. All in all a good project and looking forward to trying another one. Took about 4 hours to put together.
