I got this for my daughter for vlogging after poring over tons of reviews on similar types of cameras. She had seen some tiktoks for other brands and wanted one. However after reading reviews I found those to be far overpriced with too many issues. I'm glad I found this one because it's very aesthetically pleasing (so important for the kids these days) and high-performing. I'm a little bit of a camera nerd and I found this both fun and functional. The design is really well done. I also have a degree in user experience and I can tell Canon did their research on design functionality. My daughter is much more interested in capturing the moment, not getting bogged down into tech details, so basically point & shoot. This is perfect for that. Everything from the stand to the display, to the image stabilization is perfect. It was easy to transfer the files over to her Macbook Pro and edit using DaVinci Resolve. It worked well in sunlight outdoors and low light indoors. The only thing I found lacking is a lens cover. There is no lens cover! I couldn't find anything online that would fit either. It also doesn't have wind screens for the mics. The lack of a lens cover is an issue because the way this camera is designed to work, you just throw it in your purse and go. It's low profile so filming in public is easy. But filming on the sly, such as whipping it out in a restaurant or other public space could mean its lens getting scratched from loose keys, etc. Luckily I'm pretty good at crochet so I made a little soft case she can tuck it into. This camera serves its purpose and is really fun to use. I think it gave my daughter a little more confidence as she's just starting out with her vlogging. A nice piece of equipment will do that! My advise if you're looking at this for the same kind of usage, just ask someone crafty in your life to sew or crochet a simple case to preserve the lens. 10/10 for sure.

Quit literally the best camera for pics and vlogging without having to carry around a huge/heavy camera. These are pictures from the actual camera!

I've had this now for a couple of years and it's still fantastic. I love the immediacy of start up, the compact design and the quality of the video. Love it.

i got this camera because nicole laeno uses it and i really enjoy it a lot. The quality is really good and its easy to use for vlogging. if you need a video example i have videos on my channel theyadorellina all my long form content is filmed with this camera and i really like the quality and how compact it it. It also takes pretty good photos too. One issue i have with this camera is that battery does go out pretty fast but it charges with a usb so its easy to charge but i found mine dies about 1-2.5 hr into filming which is pretty short time but since it charges with usb its easy to take a break and charge it for a bit so that is nice. it also only takes mirco sd cards so. i woudl definitly recommend though

I love this camera, the quality and sound is great especially since the price is so affordable compared to other vlogging cameras on the market. I brought it with me on a trip to Italy and it was so easy to whip out since it is so compact and can fit in my fanny pack!

This camera is great and so easy to use. Haven't figured out all the functions yet, I'm not sure there's a zoom feature which would be nice and the screen is small so I worried how my footage would look. But when I did review my footage its really great quality, clear picture and I was happy it wasn't too zoomed out. I love it so far!

Battery life is very short. Photo quality is great!

Got it on prime day it was almost half the price so that’s a steal. Lighting and picture quality is greatttt>>> even video. I have yet to use it outside but promising as it is battery life is not the greatest. It is extremely easy to use and fits in your pocket so perfectly!! But yeah it is so confusing to zoom! I’ll figure that out maybe. Overall I love it!

Me gustó mucho la calidad de las fotos, yo la uso más para fotos, se sostiene muy bien, lo único en lo que no pense es que no tenía zoom y si me es útil, todo lo demas muy buena camara

Really good camera for first timers, it’s touch screen as well ! It holds charge and the audio quality is pretty good (it’s 10/10 if you add one of those clip on microphones) The video quality is good , it has a smooth filter option too I wasn’t expecting that , I’m very happy with this camera ;)
