Excellent socket
Excellent addition to my mini ratchet. I painted the socket red to differentiate it from the non-magnetic sockets.

Easiest sytem with just the right magnet release strength
Works just like it's supposed to for a Park Tools wrench and putting on hex bits. The magnet makes hex bits easy to pull on and off, even for the smaller bits, which on some are hard to pull off if the magnet is too strong or you have only one hand free or cant release a quick release.

Tools are cool
Do I NEED a 3/8 square to 1/4 hex bit holder? No. But I wanted it. Good value. High quality.

A Good & Helpful Tool
This is a handy tool to have around. It has held up to moderate use so far and has done everything I expected it to do. I primarily use this when I need to use a driver bit in a tight space, with a ratchet. In a tight space I don’t want to deal with the bit falling out of the socket, which happens if you use a traditional socket. The magnet in this socket holds the bit in place pretty well and the only reason this isn’t 5 stars is because I wish the magnet was stronger. It’s not weak or defective as-is, I just would like it to hold stronger so it’s less likely to be knocked out while squeezing into tight work spaces. I would purchase this item again and I recommend it to others.

I think this may be the best version of this adapter I've used. I'm not a mechanic, but I try to find quality products for all of my diy repairs. The fit is tight and the magnet holds strong. Tekton has a great finish quality and I recommend them completely. It may not be a common size being 3/8" drive, but there are plenty of special 3/8 drive ratchets that help get into tight spots or more leverage. I'll likely get a 1/4" drive one to replace my low quality existing one.
