I love freeze dried dog food. It is just a quality product and great for dogs. It is easy to store in sealed plastic containers. Since its freeze dried a little goes a long way. Very healthy diet for any dog. That being said it is extremely expensive and not doable for most pet owners. I have a small dog so its not bad. But I couldn't imagine the cost for a large dog or multiple dog homes. But if you can afford it I would highly recommend. The texture is soft and it breaks up easily in water. I didn't notice a strong smell, less smelly then average wet foods. I started buying these for my three senior mini schnauzers. They lived to 20 and 18. Before this I would cook and prepare their meals. Not everyone can do that so this is a good option.

I transitioned my 10 year old Chihuahua to a fully raw diet for health and behavioral reasons (as directed by our vet) and he LOVES this food. This is a wonderful option for smaller dogs who are not able to eat chicken. It does tend to be a more expensive food compared to some of the other air-dried options but this one has been more popular with my dog than the others. There is no smell to it (woo hoo!), he loves the taste, his health overall has gotten better, and he is able to chew these with no problem (they are small and fairly soft). Would recommend!

This is really great food, but i had to quit using it. One of my dogs became a diabetic and I had to find food that was lower in sugar. My dogs loved all the different proteins to choose from too.

My dog loves it, limited ingredients and raw freeze dried. We buy this or other VE products weekly. I use it as a topper and in a treat ball. We buy a lot from the Raw Bar too. Duck heads, pig snouts and salmon skin. I highly recommend. My only complaint is that sometimes you get a bag that is very clumpy. This is an inconvenience when trying to use in the treat ball as you have to break up the clumps.

Junior likes it! I mix one 1/4 cup 1/2 and 1/2 with instinct chicken flavor so 1/8 cup turkey and 1/8 cup instinct. and 1/4 cup Dr Marty’s - total 1/2 cup for breakfast. Dog is 24.5 LB and a picky eater. This has worked for breakfast. Dinner is Lamb instinct and Dr. Marty’s total 1/2 cup so one full cup a day + treats. He is down from 27 to 24.5 over a long time. One year reduction from 26 to 24.5 LB - he likes that the turkey has a more crunchy texture

Dog loves this food. Can only get when on sale though as it is pricey.

My dog found these more enticing than the chicken flavor and it’s just as easy on his sensitive stomach! The pieces are also sized really consistently which make them perfect for training.
