Insta360 GPS Action Remote Control with Camera

Bought this to go with my insta X4 as I can’t press the button easily when rising my motor bike. This is a game changer and way to connect and stop start recording. Worth every penny only slight gripe is the battery only lasts 2 hours not sure if this is normal but had to charge it half way through my ride

This is a very useful addition as my footage always included raising and lowering of the selfie stick. I mostly use my powered selfie stick and use this with my 3m rod. Hence, Iam still getting used to it with my X3 and it is very reliable. I tend to turn the X3 on before raising it to ensure i am ready to capture otherwise I lose track of if I'm turning the unit on or just recording. I'm still getting used to it but I hope to become more familiar with it's use the more I use it. The only slight criticism is that the selfie band is a very tight on the insta 3m selfie handle.

Works well but could do with a longer strap for mounting on ski gloves as only comes with a normal wrist strap and pole mount. I have to use the two together but it doesn't feel safe

The remote pairs and works very simply out of the box. However when cycling through the options it selects things like photo, video etc but seems to miss out HDR options for photo/video along with things like Timelapse etc.

This is awesome and I wish I bought it sooner. I use the Insta360 X3 for recording action sports; skiing and mountain biking amongst other things. I used to open the mobile application to start and stop recordings but I found this quickly drains my phones battery, and it wouldn't last the full day on long trips. However this device solves all and that and I get great GPS data amongst other stats, like speed, g force, incline, elevation and route for example. I found it easy to wear, it just straps on to your wrist like a watch, and if you don't want to do that just remove the strap and carry it wherever you like. Once connected you just press the big red button to start and stop recordings, it made life so much easier to record on the slopes when you're wearing all your gear. I was able to record whilst wearing my ski gloves, it's great! The battery lasted all day on the mountain, the longest day being around 7 to 8 hours, and it still had plenty of battery left at the end of the day, in freezing conditions, so that's great. All in all, it was worth the investment for me because I use the camera a lot and wanted to improve ease of use.

Purchased this to use for Google Street View with my Insta360 camera, but it wouldn't connect to the gps. If it did, it was very choppy and kept disconnecting and reconnecting. It also struggled to connect to my camera and disconnected mid shoot. Lost 10 minutes of footage because of this. Will not be buying from Insta360 again, its all a waste of time.
