This millet costs slightly more you may think, I did. Until I opened the box. Inside was a tided bag of the largest millet sprays you can imagine . So no, it was not more money. It’s worth every cent for the amount of quality, thick, beautiful, healthy millet carefully harvested with several inches of stem left attached. I supposed that to give options to clip to the cage; or cut the single spay in half as they are so long, and put into a metal millet holder. I tried it both ways, and like having my flock “forge” for their treat. My holder can be filled with greens too as it’s stainless steel. This millet is gorgeous! Like I said, cutting it in half will last my 4 birds a couple hours of fun forging by taking turns or all hanging on the feeder different ways. They know when the box comes out, what is inside and go quiet. Aside from sleeping, it’s the only time they are quiet watching me, waiting. It’s the only millet I buy!!! I give it 8 wings of approval!!!! ♥️🐦🐦🐦🐦

Great product! My birds love it

This was my 4th purchase. The first three bunches were magnificent. This last batch did not look the same. It's been crushed with many darkened and seedless areas throughout the bunch. Poppy and Pepper agree!

My cockatiel Goku is obsessed with this millet. He can’t get enough of it and gets excited whenever I bring it out. The millet looks fresh and natural, not like some cheap, processed stuff you see in other brands. The size is awesome. 1 pound is a lot, so it lasts me a good while. For the price, it’s a great deal compared to buying smaller packs all the time. I also like that it’s sun-dried, which I think helps keep it tasty and healthy for my bird. If you have a bird that loves millet, like a cockatiel, budgie, or finch, this is definitely worth trying. It’s easy to store and my bird’s always happy when he gets it. Definitely recommend!
