Good set for a basic palette
Inexpensive for the variety and amount of pigments. Also has a good range of cool and warm colors for a split primary palette. The yellow is pretty neutral so it can work well for oranges and greens even if you don't get a warm and cool. A huge range of mixes can be made with this even browns and blacks.

I am a fan of these pigments
I am a fan of these pigments. I use them for making encaustic paint. I’m finding that the colors are lovely and they mix well—less grainy than others.

You can make better paint with these than you could buy!
I am having so much fun with these pigments. I do calligraphy and have recently gotten into watercolors. But the good, highly pigmented watercolors are $$$, plus, I like to make things myself. These pigments go a LOOOOOOOOONG way. The paints I have made are even more pigmented than the high-end watercolors I've bought.I've included a picture where I made watercolor with Prussian Blue and Quinacridone Magenta. They make great ink for calligraphy and great paints. You can see how the magenta and blue blend to make a nice purple.AND, the sellers are amazing. I accidentally got 2 prussian blues and was missing a phthalo blue, and they let me keep the extra, and not only did they send the missing pigment but 2 extra colors!!I highly recommend these pigments, and if you want to make watercolors, just google "diy watercolor" and you'll find recipes and instructions for mulling (a thing I didn't know existed until yesterday, but is essential for mixing these pigments and is FUN).

Great set of colors
This is a great set of pigments. I am using them to make watercolors and they work amazing, the pigments are very strong. The colors in this set are good, there’s a warm and cool set of primary colors, a warm and cool purple, a green and an orange. You can mix these together to create any color. You get a good amount of pigment too. For my purposes which is just for myself, these pigments will last me years even if I paint every day.

Strong Pigment But Leaked in Transit
Be aware that the pigment bottles may leak in transit, wear rubber gloves when opening and unpacking the shipment.I am a professional colorist and paint maker, though I have yet to make paint using these pigments, colors appear strong and finely ground ready to mix with binder using a glass muller and plate. This brand of pigments offer many color sets and individual jars at reasonable prices. I will buy again, recommended.

Will more than likely be buying again!
★★TLDR: I'm in love with this set and very excited to make paint with it ★★(For context, I'm coming at this from the perspective of making watercolors. Your mileage may vary.)i've been on a journey to collect transparent watercolor pigments without breaking my bank account. While I love the quinacridones (rip quin gold) and I have a deep appreciation for phthalos, I was hesitant to buy the pigments when I was unsure of how well I could mull them into a usable paint.Enter C.A.S. AlkydPro, a brand I recognize from the oil aisle at my local art supply store. I became immediately intrigued by the range of pigments, especially for the price. I purchased this ten-piece set with a 20% off coupon, and after waiting the week of shipping (not bad at all, especially during the holiday season) I received them yesterday. The pigment set was packaged efficiently in a box just the right size for the items, using crumpled up scrap paper, which I appreciate from this brand. Reduce reuse recycle, folks. As you can see in the attached picture, the containers are right around 3.25 inches (sorry that the only thing I had for scale was a yugioh card lol)The containers are filled nearly to the brim, with the quinacridones settling the furthest (maybe 1.5cm from being totally full). For the price, I am shocked by how much product you recieve. Each of the pigments has its index code listed, which is a major plus as the Amazon listing and the listing on their website are both missing some codes. I'll add the missing ones below:★ Phthalo Blue Green Shade is listed as PB15:4★ Phthalo Blue Red Shade is listed as PB15:2★ Phthalo Green is listed as PG7★ Ultramarine Blue is listed as PB29★ Prussian Blue is listed as PB27★ Pyrrol Red is listed as PR254I haven't been able to actually mull some yet, but I have incredible hopes for this set and am already making plans to buy more from C.A.S. AlkydPro. I will update my review with how they mull, and comparisons to pre-existing paints I own that have these pigments.

Awesome Company/Brand
These are artist quality pigments for a good price. The 1.69 fl oz jars are perfect for making small batches of color, which is oil pastel in my case. Contacting this company is a pleasant experience. I will continue to buy pigments exclusively from CAS because I like to support small but quality companies.
