My hair is extremely light blond, nearly white. This clear henna does not alter the color, but adds a little shine, and a little texture (because it is drying). I have used it twice. Possibly the hue of my light hair gets slightly less cool and a tad warm without turning yellow or orange. Not hard to use, but the longer you can sit and be patient, the better.

This is my first time using neutral henna, and I must say that this stuff is so wonderful. If you're someone like me with 4c low porosity hair who's too scared to try actual henna because you're worried about it coloring your hair, senna/cassia is a great alternative as it shares the exact same benefits as henna but without dyeing the hair. This brand's neutral henna is lovely, very bright green color and turns into such a smooth lovely paste when I steeped it in oil. Its smell reminds me exactly of matcha and spinach. I was relieved that it wasn't smelly or stinky, it's basically an earthy, tea-like aroma that doesn't overpower or distract from anything. I used this in my homemade ayurvedic oil and it worked so well, gives the oil an even richer and thicker consistency. I know there are many other neutral henna brands out there, so I can't really compare this to anything, but I like this one so much that I'm just sticking to this. Very nice packaging, and the Ziploc to keep it fresh actually works! Also decent amount for the price, I thought it was going to be small but I was surprised at how big the quantity is, while also being great in quality. Really good stuff, no complaints!

I have really thick and long type 4 hair. I mixed this powder with conditioner, left it on 5 minutes and then rinsed thoroughly. I have no dandruff and my hair looks and feels amazing. I will make this part of my routine.

Great product, I use it to smooth out some of the frizziness of my 3b curly hair. This may provide some color change but it is NEUTRAL henna meaning NOT colored. If you want to color your hair you need to go buy the correct product. The instructions are very much inadequate. I have used henna many times and don't need instructions, but if you have not used henna before the instructions will not tell you all you need to know. In that case, I recommend the brand with the initials LM. It may look more expensive but it's a kit and has excellent instructions.

I have been coloring my hair with a henna and cassia mix for several years. My mix is 1/4 cassia and 3/4 henna. This gives me a shiny bright red and fully covers the gray/white hair. The cassia helps to keep my hair strong and very healthy. I NEVER need conditioner! I mixed an approximate amount for one (touch-up) application and after applying, put the rest in the freezer. (Using henna to color is wonderful in this way, as it keeps beautifully, so no waste!) Both of these products are very finely sifted with no additives and easily mix leaving no lumps. The color was true and met my expectations. The price was the reason I gave them a try, but the quality will keep me buying them!

I have been using 100% henna for years. I started using this, and the last three times I have used it, it has not dyed my hair at all, it has residues. Seems like a high-quality product but in my experience is not, does not do the job, I wonder if the product was expired

It will stain gray hair if you leave it in too long.

I mixed the natural henna with some indigo and a great henna that is too orange…but with a perfect consistency, not grainy like another one that I was using. I’m glad that I bought this product, because my hair is bouncier than before. I realized that this natural henna was the missing thing from my hair treatment. I already ordered 3 bags. With this product, your hair looks fuller, and thicker. Completely necessary for the regular henna! I couldn’t achieve the results with just the henna alone. Thanks for the excellent product Amazon!
