Happy to have my backup now to hook into my portable hard drives (LaCie). This works great to plug directly into my apple laptop. Fast too, and I prefer a shorter cable to not have hanging cable everywhere.

I’ve been using this UGREEN USB‑C to Micro‑B cable in my studio workflow for a while, and it’s made transferring large audio and video files significantly faster and more reliable. What I liked: • Blistering 10 Gbps data transfer rate, making massive file transfers almost instant—supercharged for studio backups.  • Braided nylon and aluminum alloy connectors offer impressive durability and bend resistance—built to last.  • Excellent compatibility: works seamlessly with MacBooks, iPads, Samsung devices, and external hard drives like WD, Seagate, Toshiba.  What could be improved: • Length options are limited; a longer cable would be ideal for more flexible studio setups. Conclusion: If you frequently work with external storage and need a fast, reliable, and sturdy cable, this UGREEN model is a fantastic pick. Highly recommended for producers, musicians, content creators, or anyone handling large files daily.

Perfect addition to my toolbox to increase the distance I need to be from the port, very important for those who don't want to kneel, bend over, or stand on a ladder. this allows me to stand comfortably with my device or sit in a chair. Functionally fast and exactly as needed for my application, enough throughput to run a virtual OS from an external space.

EDIT: Removed my original review, due to user error. Perfect length, perfect fit. I will have to test it for speed, but I'm using it with a USB Hub that may not permit the full bus speed. This cable was purchased to free up other USB 3 ports on my computer, while utilizing a Type-C port for a data intensive task. While still a thick cable, it's thinner than the USB-A to USB-Micro B cable I previously purchased. So, with respect to cable management, it's easier to thread. The connections are aluminum, with the connectors being smaller than the previous cables that I have used. This isn't bad, just not something I realized. If I needed to fit the connector in a tight space, this would likely be a better fit than the previous cables were.

Still working after a year, which is rare for me and cables in general. Pretty stiff but that goes along with durability.
