QUICK CONTEXT FOR THE VIDEO - I do not condition my hair in the shower, it only leads to more breakage for me. But I turn anything conditioning I love into a spray. But you have to find the right dosage (product/water in the bottle) for your hair as well and where you’re going to use the product at. Which is why I love turning my new fav leave in conditioner to a spray, where I spray from about my ears down on the outer parts, I pull any knots straight up and spray it, then spray the rest of my lengths. REVIEW - I use L’Oréal Paris Elvive Total Repair 5 Protein Recharge Leave-In Conditioner throughout the year to help my hair recover after doing my own balayages about once every 9 months. I add in highlights whenever I feel like they’re going blah. Since I sometimes add really dark lowlights too (and I definitely can’t see all 360 degrees of my head), so there are always a few sections that end up a little more processed than intended, because going from level 2nc to platinum is impossible without damage. This has been great for helping my hair feel healthier again over time. I really like that it contains CEREMIDES (which made me buy it in the first place because I know how helpful they are in skincare when you’re using any retinoids, it basically helps tolerance, dryness, itchiness, among other issues and repairs the area you’re applying it to) BUT ON TOP OF THAT a repair concentrate, which actually seem to make a difference. My hair feels stronger, smoother, and less dry, especially in the areas that take the most damage. It doesn’t weigh my hair down and works well as a heat protectant when I’m blow-drying or styling which I try to avoid but sometimes has to happen. Overall, this is a reliable leave-in for maintaining hair health between color and bleach sessions. Affordable, effective, and easy to turn into a spray — I’ll definitely keep repurchasing, and I used to have to switch products every few weeks until I found one that didn’t help my hair this much but helped more than others. When I found this let me tell you the difference is crazy from before to now! And I don’t feel like I’ll ever have to switch until they take it away!

Smells so good and it works so well with my hair! My hair used to be super frizzy and this makes it just amazing! Brings out my natural curl/wave and really helps my hair feel so much healthier! I use it every time after I shower while my hair is still damp. It's not greasy at all, nice and smooth, worth every penny, you don't need that much each use.

I have purchased this item before another locations but this is the first time with Amazon so I am happy to say that it does work well for hair that has been stressed, pulled and tangled. For me is best not to try to pull my hair and it does help me untangle my hair. As far as smelling this product is awesome makes me feel like I've been washing my hair with a very expensive shampoo but it leaves my hair soft manageable and the quality of the product is to look for. The color of the product will not affect the color of your hair however it does help out to again untangle all your hair without have to pull your hair out when you try to comb it out. Of this prefer to use it when my hair is damp or I tried to damp my hair with a little sprayer and then utilize it as well. Has helped my hair achieve a healthy shine and maintain my hair very comfortably manageable in all occasions. My hair when greasy I use a tad bit but if my hair is dry I use about a dime-nickle size squeeze. Just like the instructions indicates ... distribute accordingly to your preference.

This conditioner works very well. After initial use, though, it leaves a cheap perfume smell that's not appealing.

For years I have been hesitant to try any leave-in conditioners. I always wondered if they would just leave my hair feeling greasy and limp, or worse yet, like I had poured glue in my hair but I knew I had to try something. Recently I bought one of those electric hair drying brushes and I really loved how I could quickly dry and style my hair at the same time with one piece of equipment. No longer did I have to dry my hair then use a curling iron or dry my hair with a dryer while using a round styling brush. The only problem was that I noticed that my hair was getting a lot of fly aways or dryness. So I sadly just stopped using the hair drying brush. After searching on amazon, I saw many people rave about how L'Oreal Paris Elvive Total Repair 5 Protein Recharge Leave In Conditioner helped them with similar concerns so I finally broke down and ordered some. Well, I tried it as soon as it arrived today and I am very surprisingly impressed with it. After showering I applied a pea sized amount to the palm of my hand. I then rubbed my hands together and then worked it through my shoulder length hair. The smell was pretty nice. I then used my electric hair drying brush as I had used before. My hair looks fantastic. It is silky and smooth with very few fly aways. There is absolutely no greasiness and my hair doesn't feel weighed down at all. Just smoothness and extra shine. No crunchiness or the feeling like I poured glue in my hair. None of the problems I thought I would experience using a leave-in conditioner materialized which makes me so happy. I have even suggested to my husband give it a try. His hair gets dry and frizzy during the winter, probably from having the furnace on. So if you have some of the reservations I had about leave-in conditioner as I had, you might give this one a try

I am on my first tube and am pleased with the results. The product leaves my hair soft, with enhanced curl, shiny, and without feeling gummy or sticky like some products do. I wait to see the long term results but am ordering a second tube. It is a better value than buying locally.

I was on a glp1 and noticed my hair got extremely fragile after 50 lbs weight loss. My hair was already fine and on the thinner, weaker side to start and I was 6 months post partum. My hair was horrible!!! After a weak of using this amongst other products (using some high end but a lot of drug store) I notice a huge difference in the feel of my hair and also how it looks. This is a tad heavy for my hair so I put it in a spray bottle and added a little water to thin it out. I find I get better coverage that way as well. This gave my hair so much life back and I have hope that It will just continue to improve as the weeks go on. I use this every single day after I get out of the shower and my hair air drys silky smooth now. I’m seeing less and less breakage and my hair feels protected and like it’s getting strong again!

I can see why people like this, but there are so many other options for protein for your hair that have far smaller lists of ingredients, especially those you can pronounce. While it provides momentary assistance, it’s not long-lasting, and there’s been no notable difference for hair quality with its use. If you need hair protein (as this is what is used to help with hair repair— not some random serum that adds a coating and does not repair weakened hair strands), go to Etsy and look for hair protein.
