The only reason I only gave 4 stars is that I made a mistake in not getting the less powerful one! this one is great if you need to carry a searchlight in your pocket, but it is so too bright for my needs when camping.

Maglite
It’s a Maglite. I have several Maglite torch’s and haven’t had a problem with any of them. I have dropped them on the ground, in pools, left the batteries in them and they have leaked and they still work perfectly. The new led lamps are brilliant, really, really bright. And I think this new Maglite will be used for a long time, and stand up to the abuse a well used torch goes through.
