I tend to spill stuff in my field notes or get them rained on so I bought this to provide some protection. Pros: I think the value was pretty good for what I got. It is sturdy and has a waxed canvas look. The closure is a solid YKK zipper with two pulls. Pen pockets are a plus. Cons: You aren't going to be able to carry this in your back pocket like I used to. You lose some of the "simple" use that makes field notes special. I don't like writing with my wrist on a zipper. In the end I decided that field notes are just a bit too challenging for my usage case, and this is sitting on my shelf. It looks pretty, but I have to dust it sometimes. :)

Great design and purpose. The price of this item is worth it. It is functional for small note taking and can be easily carried in a back pocket or small space. Kept simple notes organized and would purchase again.

Like any similar product, this cover is stiff. I think as i use it more and more it will become more pliable. I like the xl zipper pull as well as the outside pocket that extends to the back. In the pictures this pocket is used to hold pens and I use the front for that, but the back I use for index cards. Inside there is good organization - the CC pockets are sideways so you load a card from the side vice the top and for me that's a negative.

I do a lot of work around the house, and I'm pretty famous for letting the notebooks I use to write shopping lists, dimensions, job lists etc; get completely trashed. This is a nice, durable product that has kept a notebook alive for several weeks now. I'm also that much less likely to misplace it. I'll call that a small miracle. Fits nicely in my back pocket while I'm working and shopping. I never lose my pen, mini ruler or mini calipers I like to have on hand. I really like the look and feel a lot. If I have one worry its that the stitching on the pen pocket might get damaged from sliding the pen clip over it, not sure of that area could be reinforced, but I couldn't take a star away from a product I'm very happy with, for that.

Nice little cover but it does not fit field notes, it is too small.

I got this with the HOPE it would help me start journaling, organize my notes better (and analogue), journal, and become my wallet. It works. Pen, pencil, highlighter, sharpie, and pocket knife stays nicely in the fold. 2 fieldbooks, cash my cards, receipts I need all fit and still fits in my back pocket! It may be a little big for some but not me. Awesome build quality, firm and flexible. Definitely recommend. And for the price!!! A steal!

This is well made. My plan was to carry it everywhere, I think it is somewhat larger than I expected. I will use it. I haven't decided how to put it to use.

Very nice field notes cover. Practical and looks good. A bit expensive for what it is - but I do like it.

Die Hülle ist mittlerweile mein täglicher Begleiter. Gegenüber dem ordentlich teureren Original hat sie einen großen Vorteil: Sie nimmt in der Höhe Leuchtturm Pocket-Notizbücher auf. Diese sind etwas länger als das klassische Field Notes Format und passen nicht in das Original. Links passt ein Leuchtturm Jottbook A6 und rechts ein Leuchtturm Pocket Notebook A6 mit Softcover. Perfekt!

Tolle Tasche. Waxed Canvas ist langlebig und fühlt sich gut an. Es passen 2 Field Notes rein, keines Lineal, Stift und sogar ein kleiner Rechner. Alles, was man für den Urlaub braucht, um Notizen zu machen und die Zettelwirtschaft zusammen zu halten. Ich würde das Teil auf jeden Fall wieder kaufen. Ein Zentimeter mehr auf jeder Seite wäre super.
