Wonderful skin helper!
Within 2 weeks my cat went from scales and terrible skin constantly grooming to shiny and no scales( which drove me crazy) And now sleeping a lot without much grooming. I’m thrilled! It’s a Nutramax product and Ive taken cosamin Nutramax for years so that’s why I tried this for my cat. Just a great product.

I have seen improvement in my cat
My cat was suffering from pretty bad hot spots around her neck. We would get them almost cured and she would scratch and scratch. Her skin was so itching she just couldn't stop itching. The third vet we took her to gave us the usually antibiotic wipes/lotion and made sure our flea/tick etc was up to date. But they also recommeded DermaQuinn. It did the trick. Both my cats have been taking for two weeks. No more scratching and their coats are shiny and soft. The treats are large and hard. Both cats turned their nose up the first night. So, I cut them up and put them in their bowls. In the morning they were gone. Next night- they licked them, and tried to eat but they were hard. I cut them in half. They both ate them. Third night- they licked, picked up in teeth, played with and then worked on chewing on them. Now both cats eat without a problem.

Meh for the itch
These were recommended by the vet. They have not helped much with his itch but they did improve his poop. As other reviewers comment -- they are NOT soft. I have to cut into 8-12 pieces and mix in with his kibble. When served in the morning, the pieces are _usually_ gone by bedtime. Initially, I cut in half and directly administered the pieces, but he already gets other daily pills that need to be directly administered and the end result was that he didn't want to come for meal times. And this is a cat that is happy to eat his tablet meds like candy and has yet to meet a meal he didn't want. I think they are overpriced, but that's what they cost pretty much everywhere. I am uncertain how long we'll continue using these because, as stated, they haven't appeared to make any notable difference with the itching. He's mostly still on them because it's improved his pooping (and he's a elder statesman so that seems like a positive -- although there are probably less expensive options out there).

Helps with sensitive stomach
Vet recommended for my 1-1/2 yo rescue cat’s sensitive stomach. This in addition to sensitive food keeps his poop normal. I do need to break up into pieces for my cat. I imagine a dog would be able to chew it whole. He likes the taste.

Not a soft chew very hard!
Not sure if I see an improvement after a half a year, but the vitamins are very hard.

Dermaquin Skin Support Supplement
This product was originally prescribed by my dog’s vet. Amazon sells it for a less than the vet’s office. My dog usually loves the flavor, when she doesn’t feel like eating it, I put a small amount of butter on it & she eats it right up. I did run out at some point for about a week & I can really tell the difference in how much she’s scratching when she takes it every day versus when she was out of it. It’s the best! Good value.
