Bob Ross Color-by-Number

This is the best color by number book I’ve ever bought. The quality is great with nice thick pages so markers don’t bleed through. The fold out key is great and makes things simple. The cover is also nice and sturdy. Because the same key is used for all the pages, you can easily make yourself a little key for which markers you used; for example, I used mostly Shuttle Art alcoholic markers, so I could write the marker number that corresponded with that shade on the key. I am currently recovering from surgery and this is such a nice way to relax and occupy myself.

great bob ross pictures to fill in the color. I found that the pictures were not good for color pencils but could have been the pencils that I was using because the color number showed through the color. found the paper was not thick enough for water colors

Absolutely fabulous coloring book. It's kept me entertained for hours and helped me calm down during stress. I've emptied several markers in this book alone because it's just so good. The patterns are simple and clearly labeled, and when you're done with a page you can tear it out easily and save it. The paper is such nice quality, it's a delight to color on. It's not completely immune to crumbling with waterbased markers, but it's strong enough to not tear through. I'm almost completely done with the whole book, I wish there were more with this paper and easy outlines!

This book is fabulous and I have done several pictures out of it. I love Bob Ross and sadly the man died in 1995 what a waste , the talent and technique of a lovely artist. This paint by numbers brings the joy he told us that art gives. The colours once done look presentably arty and as the painter you will be proud of your efforts. I have used colour pencil to do mine , will try with water colour pencils next but one thing I will say which every medium you choose remember this is paint by numbers and the results will not be as good as Bobs orginal art work. 90 pages of bliss and many happy hours of creation . It is what life is about.
