Great product
I searched for quite a while to find the right automatic feeder for my betta fish, and I’m so glad I came across this one. It’s the only feeder I found that truly allows me to control exactly how much food is dispensed each day. Since I only have one fish in my tank, it was really important to avoid overfeeding and having excess food sitting in the water. This feeder gives me precise portion control, which helps keep the tank cleaner and my fish healthier. Setup was straightforward, and it has been consistent and reliable so far. If you’re looking for an automatic feeder that gives you full control over portions this is a great option. For reference, I use fish pellets rather than flakes, so my experience is based specifically on pellet food. I can’t speak to how it performs with flakes, but for pellets, it works very well.

Great feeder, definitely recommend
This little thing is great. We got it to keep the fish fed while we were out of town for the holidays. All fish were alive and well when we got back (and still are) and the appropriate number of servings had been served. It works so well, we have just kept using it even when we are home as it doesn't forget to feed them like we occasionally do, we just hsve to remember to reload it every week or two. We have been using it a little over a month now, and it still shows full battery. I don't know if that is accurate, but the battery life is certainly good regardless.

Great for aquariums with lids
Tried several auto fish feeders, and the others (esp the ones that look like the shape of a gun dispenser) will dispense way too much food, which is a nightmare if you're using this for a trip and don't have anyone else to care and feed for your beloved pet fish. I like that you can determine how much food per feeding will be dispensed, and you can set a timer so that it feeds three different times throughout the day (or you can opt for just once). The other autofeders that I tried requires you to attach the feeder to one of the aquarium walls, which didn't work for my setup because I have fish that jump, and so, I prefer a lid over my aquarium. This feeder is excellent if you use a lid and it has a feeding hole. To do this, I placed it right above the feeding hole, and it dispenses pretty well at the time(s) you set. If you prefer to afix the feeder to your aquarium wall, it comes with a screw and stand so that you can do that too. I like the versatile options! It is wireless and charges pretty quickly, and the charge lasts a long time. The last time I charged it was almost 2 weeks ago, and I haven't had the need to charge it yet. One caveat is that though it works really really well, you might need to train/condition your fish that the food will come from the feeding hole if you don't use the hole on a regular basis or an autofeeder. After a week or so of training my fish, he knew to come up in the morning for his food. Otherwise, the food would've just floated away, dirtying the water. This autofeeder is exactly what I was looking for in terms of ease of setup, reliability, and amount of food dispensed. This will save me time and money from asking friends or others to stop by and care/feed my fish. When traveling and no one is checking on my fish, I set up a Blink camera to ensure all is well with my pet. The Blink camera and this fish feeder are a game changer for anyone looking for an auto feeder!

This is so much better than those vacation feed tablets!
Once I figured out how to properly use these (the directions were a bit vague), they worked great! I was able to confidently leave my fish tank for almost a week, knowing my fish would be fed the right amount and not overfed. The timer and portion control are reliable, and the moisture-proof design kept the food fresh. A great solution for vacation feeding! One more important thing I want to add - because my tanks both have lids.I specifically chose this one because I was able to position it over the feeding hole and that was so helpful. A lot of the other types required you to leave your lid off. I’ve got some jumpers so that wasn’t an option. Four stars only because the directions were vague and had I not practiced using this on a napkin a week before I went it would’ve severely overfed my fish.

High quality feeder works like a charm.
Since Covid we travel three or four times a year for 8-10 days each. I bought this auto feeder two years ago to take care of the fish in my 75 gallon tank and it works great. Quality construction for the price. Charge would last all year, but I charge it up every time. I suppose in the future, if the charge wouldn’t hold, I could just leave it plugged in. Set up is easy… set time on its clock, choose frequency and timing of feeding, load up the food portions, and set it in place. Has optional suction cups to hold it in place on glass top.

Works exactly as advertised and simple to program.
Super simple to program after charging it and setting the time: Step 1 - set how often (in days) you want it to feed. Every day? Every other day? Every third day? Step 2 - for those feeding days you just set, you then set the timeslot or timeslots of day when you want it to feed. If I remember correctly, you can set up to three times per day. So for example, you can set it to feed at 10am, 5 pm, and 9 pm. Or just once a day at whatever time, however you setup in Step 1. Step 3 - set how many portions of food per feeding. The segmented "ring" around the outside is where you put in your portions of food. Most of us will set one portion per feeding, but you can set two portions per feeding. I suggest programming it well in advance of when you intend to use it, and test it several times to make sure your programming is correct. I set mine up to drop food on a paper plate during this time. On day one, I set up three feedings at three different times of the day. It dropped the food right on time and is so far working just fine. I bought this because we're going away for 5 days, way too long to go without feeding my africans. I have automatic LED lights that come on/go off in the evening, so I'm going to setup the feeding schedule for once per day, one feeding portion, for those 5 days.

having this automatic feeder has been super helpful when i'm traveling!! the battery seems to really last a long time. i wasn't sure about trusting it at first, but now that i've had to use this a few times i feel confident in relying on this to feed my little fish when i'm away :)
