The Mighty Mini !! Best Bang for your buck!
Locks 8 sats in my 1st of 3 floor condo, in Alaska. Have 4 of these installed on my FPV quads and they all work perfectly. They are a little slow when they first try to connect in a new area. They usually take around 2 to 3 minutes for it to lock in 7+ sats (i can fly on 5 but have it set up to only arm on 7+ locks). once it locks them for the first time, it can reconnect within a few seconds after power cycling my quads. I consistently have 12 to 17 satellites locked at all times outside. I have never had it drop signal or fail. So far, I could not be happier with my purchases. In fact I'm on here right now with the intent to purchase two more, and I figured that since it is such a good product that I should give it a review....so here we are.

Awesome TINY module for Meshtastic nodes
Bought one of these to cram into a meshtastic enclosure and it is absolutely MINI! This thing can't be bigger than the size of a nickle, yet it's able to connect to just as many satellites as my other modules?! That's insane to me. For the price and size, I am not sure it can really be beat, at least as far as modules you can get off of Amazon. Definitely worth it. LEDs on the back of the antenna are very bright and easily shine through 3D printed plastic (if that's your thing). Wiring to the module was already done out of the box, I just snipped off the grove connector and hooked it up directly to a Heltec V3. Been running that combo with a 2000mah battery for a few days now with about 20% battery remaining, shockingly so I feel the power consumption is a little better than the other boards I was using before. Super worth it for the size, cost and performance of this little guy!

Good signal, small size
Recommend, good quality, small size and weight, basic functional as a big GPS module, but small enough to put it on a 3inch drone. Just watch if the price not too high, buy it. I bought for 18$, but I think this would be better for 12$ or 15$.

Note: Default speed is 115200 baud!
Seems to work fine. Extremely compact and inexpensive! Usage note: Every other serial GPS module I've used runs at 9600 baud, but this one defaults to 115200. Yes, I know the item listing says 115200; but now I understand this means "sends data at 115200 out of the box", and not "defaults to 9600 but supports sending data at 115200 if you configure it that way". This is important to know if you're using this with your own coding on an Arduino, ESP32, or other microcontroller platform, or if you're using another system where the interface speed is configurable. One I got past that hurdle I was able to obtain location and time information as expected.

Surprisingly good for such a small thing
First off. This thing is tiny. Makes it perfect for placing it on 3 inch quads and other smaller freestyle drones. The small size also means lighter weight which is great for racing, and just saving weight in general. As far as performance, I've been pleasantly surprised. So far I haven't encountered any issues, in fact it picks up and holds around 16 satellites whenever Ive flown. The HGL M80 Pro, which I use one another quad, averages around 7-8 satellites during a flight. The only thing that could be better is that the QR code to get to the instruction manual doesn't work and takes you to some sketchy website that my virus software didn't like at all. If they would just include a printed instruction sheet I'd be much more happy. You'd think they would have links to the manual on their website, but I couldn't find anything like that. All in all though, once you figure out how to set this thing up, it's awesome and I highly recommend it.

as described, works fine
works good for a mini. takes a few minutes for 12+ sats but when it finds them they stay locked. Good product for my 2 inch drone

Great value and quality!
The gps module was exactly what I needed. Fit perfectly and works flawlessly with my lilygo t-deck. Sat connection within 2 mins and while indoors. Recommend this module if your building a t deck.

A GPS That Barely Works
Could it had been the item I did receive is defective? HGLRC Mini M100 GPS does take more than 5 minutes to recognize 3 satellites only, in an area my other drone's GPS connects to 22 satellites at least, and in less than a minute the GPS locks to the necessary satellites (and this when I didn't use the drone for weeks too). Even when the HGLRC Mini M100 GPS locks to 8 satellites, after about 10 minutes, and exposing the drone to the sky directly, I do lose these satellites while flying, and drop down to 5 and 3 satellites. I do not understand why other reviews speak of HGLRC Mini M100 GPS very well. Are they happy with 8-11 satellites max that drops to 3-5 while in flight and not being able to read your drone speeds? Of course, I tried the GPS months later I purchased it. Otherwise, I would had returned the GPS, or at least, ask for a replacement.
