Men's Waterbury Classic 40mm Watch

I’ve been wearing this watch daily for about 6 months and I really like it! It’s good looking, seems like it’s well put together and durable, it’s accurate, and a great daily watch. I don’t use the chronograph/timer feature much, but when I have it seems to work as expected. The backlight feature is kind of dim, so for some it might be tough to read the watch in the dark.

Beautiful watch. Small, lightweight and very attractive. Keeps time well, nice finish and durable band. It’s become my favorite daily wear watch. Great quality, holds its own in the watch case next to my under $2k collection.

Brilliant watch. Solid craftsmanship, premium design, and excellent feel. I got tons of compliments from people (both in real life and on r/watches, lol). Highly recommend. It's surprising it's being sold on Amazon for only about $90.

The size of the watch is smaller than expected, but it is still a very classy looking watch. Comfortable, good value and readable. It's not weighty enough but it's still a very good watch.

Very desappointed of this Watch. 3 wears and the glass is scratched already, really after just 3 wears. Also, is small for big arms.

First off, this is a Timex not a Rolex. I don't know what some people in the review section expect when they order a watch for less than $100. In this price range though you are getting decent quality. I have no complaints about the dial or face and the leather band has a nice thick higher end feeling to it. A definite step up from models such as The Weekender or Expedition (although I have no problems with those lines either, just saying for comparison sake.) The indiglo feature is unique to almost every Timex so the lume on the face is naturally going to be not as bright. Only complaint I have about indiglo is once it burns out, unless you absolutely love the watch and want to pay for the repair, it just isn't worth the cost and hassle. That said, I have only had one indiglo actually "burn out" on me and that was a Weekender that might have been 3-4 years old. At least the version I got does not have an audible "tick" so I don't know what various reviews are complaining about. I have heard this about other lines, but at least mine is quiet enough I can't hear it. Mine shipped in a presentation box that was definitely an upgrade over the retail packaging of other lines such as the Weekender. It was more like that of a Citizen or Seiko box, which was a nice addition if you are gifting. Finally, I got this on a substantial sale. At the full retail price, you are entering a price point for a Seiko or Citizen which I think is going to be of higher quality. But if you can catch it 20% or more, like the look, I would say go for it.

I look at timex with a great deal of nostalgia. As a kid it was the watch to have. Timex is probably the reason I love watches to this day. However having a lot of watches gives me an opportunity to compare this timex with other comparable priced watches and also more expensive watches. I thought, in buying a Waterbury Collection, I would be getting a watch with a little more attention to detail. What I got was a regular inexpensive Timex with The Waterbury printed on the face. Speaking of the face, I read reviews that said the face looks printed. Not only does it look printed, it doesn't look unlike paper. The case is nice, it appears well made and is polished well. The crown is tiny and borderline unusable, making setting the watch a challenge. The stap is made in India and I'm sure it is bonded leather, but is is soft and attractive. The box was nice, typical of a higher quality watch. In conclusion, this watch is currently selling for $89. It is essential an inexpensive imported watch that is labeled a timex. For that same $89 you can actually get a very nice imported watch from brands like Invicta. For a little more money, maybe $125, you can get a low end Seiko or even a Bulova. And for just a little more money and some good shopping you can get an actual swiss made watch like the Glycine I recently bought new for under $130. If you want a cheap watch buy a cheap watch, if you want a nice watch buy a nice watch, but this one is neither. It's costume jewelry.

El reloj es muy bonito, me gustó mucho que la correa es de piel en general tiene un diseño clásico y se siente atemporal. Lo compré como un regalo para mi prometido para que lo use el día de nuestra boda y a él le encantó! Es un excelente reloj y muy bonito, especialmente para personas como yo que tal vez no contamos con mucho presupuesto para comprar un reloj muy caro, este definitivamente tiene una excelente relación calidad/precio
